Less than ten minutes walk to Termini.

No elevator, has to drag luggage to third floor using stairs. Tv not working. shower ok. 10 to 15 minutes walk to people mover to go to cruise port. Beware of restaurant below - overcharging. Look at the bill first before eating your order to avoid surprises - Tratoria Bella restaurant. We were ask to pay 106 euros for 2 instead of 14 euros plus tax per person. Beware of other eateries also.

최악의 호텔

우선 위치는 도저히 여기에 나온 위치로는 찾을수가 없고, 정...말 작은 골목에 있기 때문에 눈 크게 뜨고 표지판을 찾으셔야 합니다. 간판은 없구요..;; 그리고 호텔 안에 있는 담요는 머리카락에 냄새에 장난아닙니다. 다시는 이용하고 싶지 않구요. 위치나 가격보고 선택하긴했는데 웬만하면 그냥 베니스에서 숙박안하는게 나을듯

Trang inngang til koselig atmosfære

Inngangen lå gjemt inne i en ekstremt trang gate, men hotellet og rommet var svært koselig. Var renslig og romslig, og vi ble fulgt til døren ved ankomst.

Great for a short stay.

Booked for a 2 night stay following disembarkation from a cruise - needed somewhere relatively inexpensive, with a location not too far away from the bus station - really heavy suitcases to drag as you would expect following a 2 week cruise. Had to walk up and down the street several times to find the narrow alleyway leading to the hotel. Staff were excellent, very helpfull and friendly.

soggiorno pessimo

l'hotel moderno e' situato in una calla piccolissima larga soli 80 cm non ci sono insegne ma solo un foglio A4 con stampato il nome dell'albergo, dalla calla principale e' impossibile vederlo. quando siamo arrivati hotel moderno era pieno ma e' gestito dalla stata proprieta' della locanda antica casa carettoni e hotel adriatico e siamo stati dirottati al carettoni, l'unica stanza disponibile era una stanza che loro definiscono letto alla francese sarebbe il nostro letto ad una piazza e mezza. lo sconsiglio vivamente, personale poco disponibile verso il cliente e stanze non adeguate al rapporto qualita' prezzo.

Hot atmosphere!

First of all it was extremely hard to find that hotel. When we finally got to the room, we find out that there is no way regulate a temperature. It was hot, air conditioning was working all the time on the highest heat. When we asked at the reception to fix it, nothing really has changed. So we had to sleep with window open. Because of permanent noise coming from the street and heat in the room we didn't really sleep too well. Next thing was dust under our bed, which was almost flying around and towels that were not changed. But after all and mostly thanks to great Italian wine we had very nice stay in Venice.

Je suis partie pour 3 nuits en décembre à cette hôtel Il faut savoir que la réception ne se fait pas au même endroit l'hôtel se trouve dans une impasse La première nuit a été sans chauffage on a du demander le lendemain ils ont appeler et le soir on a eu du chauffage Oui en effet il y'a des plafond sale moisissure mais c'est vivable quand il y a de l'humidité comme a venise faut pas espère un hôtel comme en France la réception est juste génial il parle plein de langue Nb: la Tv faut laisser une caution de 50 euros a savoir L'hôtel est très bien placer à côté de la gare et au début de Venise On gardera un très bon souvenir L'hôtel ne devrais pas s'appeler moderno car la déco ne les pas mais nous sommes a venise :) Avis général cetais bien même si la chambre est petite il faut noté que la douche et les wc sont dans la chambre et c'est un plus Et les chambres sont propre drap etc propre Bon voyage a vous et merci hotel moderno

Terrible access and dreadful aspect!!

this hotel is not accessible for people with any kind of luggage. The hotel is located on a narrow alley not able to be passable by anyone pulling luggage. The only way to access the hotel through the access alley is if you enter the alley sideways and pull your wheeled bag sideways (so narrow the alley is!!!). Once you get to the hotel entrance (a whole in the wall), you need to climb a flight of stairs to get to the reception area (again, pulling you luggage by yourself!!). The aspect of the hotel is dreadful from the outside. When it was time for my check in (after 2PM this past Saturday), no one was at the reception. Horrible service! I would not recommend this hotel for anyone other than backpackers.

Hotel Moderno var svær at finde

Adressen (Cannaregio 154/B - Lista di Spagna) til Hotel Moderno var meget svær at finde i en meget , meget smal sidegyde og det var ikke muligt at finde husnummeret i Lista di Spagna og skiltningen ud til gaden var meget, meget minimal. Da vi endelig havde fundet stedet efter en times søgen viste det sig, at der var en henvisning til et andet hotel tæt på i Lista di Spagna og som var nemt nok at finde. Det viste sig så, at vores værelse lå på et tredie hotel tæt ved i endnu en sidegyde, som også var nem nok at finde. Vores værelse og betjening var i øvrigt helt som vi havde ønsket og forventet. Det ville være en god ide, at der i det udsendte materiale havde været en henvisning til en af de to andre adresser, der ville have været meget nemmere at finde. Vi havde i øvrigt tre dejlige dage i Venedig og omegn.
