「The cleanliness is the only area they need to improve. There was a clump of hair in the shower, and the vents are very dusty. Staff was great and very accommodating, kind and friendly. The pool area was very large with plenty of seats. Really like all the little chairs and tables tucked into spots throughout the building. My hands are always full and I’m always looking for the keycard or my phone so it was nice to have the tables. 」

「A very quaint country home. Beautifully remodeled and oozing warmth. Wonderful innkeeper who is very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend the outstanding breakfast in the sunroom. The attached eatery has a marvelous menu and great food. 」

「I visit Springfield at least once a year, this is my second stay at the hartness house, I’ve stayed in the mansion and in the hotel, I have been very happy with both options. The mansion is stunning and enjoying a coffee and pastry in the mansion in the morning is lovely. I’m glad to see this historic building being taken care of so thoughtfully. 」

「The Inn is situated near the top of a mountain and surrounded by other hilltops. There are trails that help you to reconnect with nature. Our room was lovely and comfortable. There is a attention to detail in the decor of this establishment which is both delightful and humorous.」
