Et fantastisk sted

Fin service. Værelserne og omgivelserne er helt fantastiske. Hele huset er fyldt med ting fra Afrika og haven er et kapitel for sig. Palmer, giraffer, elefanter og swimmingpool. Rundt om poolen er der steder man kan ligge i skyggen og slappe af. Stort hyggelig overdækket udestue. Det skal opleves.

zero privacy. not for families.

while the pictures show a serene country villa, an empty pool surrounded by vast green, we were shocked to find upon our arrival around 150 people (!) occupying the villa grounds. it turns out that it is NOT only a cozy family hotel but also a public pool, serving young Italians from all around the area. it is busy all the time, hormone filled atmosphere, a spring-break in Cancun feel - about the last thing you want from an Italian holiday with your kids. furthermore, on the night we arrived the owners held a rave party (i kid you not) with hundreds of people swarming the villa, loud trance music, even an ambulance to cater the young party goers. the bangs stopped only at midnight. we didn't know whether to laugh or cry. we left the hotel the next morning, amidst cigarettes buds and broken bear bottles that remained from last night's rave. the owners refunded only a third of our stay and only after a long tedious correspondence. we had to book a nearby hotel which cost us a lot of money since we had to find it on the same day. bottom line - if you're over 25 and aren't looking for a hookup- this is not the place for you.

Ponte del primo maggio

La location è incantevole e così l'accoglienza dei proprietari. L'unica pecca nel nostro caso è stata l'ubicazione poco felice della Camera in quanto si affacciava sulla scalinata principale e quindi non era molto silenziosa, ma a parte questo è andato tutto benissimo e siamo stati felici di aver soggiornato lì.

Nice b&b but not 4 starts worthy.

Het is een leuke b&b met prachtige tuin en zwembad. Goede locatie met veel leuke restaurants in de omgeving. Je zit zo bij het gardameer/verona/wijnvelden valpolicella. Het ontbijt was super. Veel keus, heerlijke koffie. Echter de gastvrijheid was matig. Op de dag van aankomst was er 1 jong meisje om ons in te checken. Was zeer onvriendelijk/kortaf en niet geïnteresseerd. O.a. bij meerdere vragen werden we niet fijn geholpen (bijv restaurant tips, reisstekker ed). Dat moesten we zelf maar uitzoeken. Je bent erg op jezelf aangewezen maar dat is dus ook wel weer prettig! De 'standaard 2 persoons kamer' komt overigens totaal niet overeen met de foto's. Is veel kleiner en weinig ruimte om je kleding op te bergen. Badkamer erg verouderd.

Excellent stay at this lovely place

Our stay at Ca' Maddalena was excellent - the accomodation looks great and everyone was really friendly. We stayed for one night but would have definitely stayed loger if we could.

Un angolo di Africa

Bell'albergo immerso nella campagna in tutta tranquillità. Tutto curato nei minini dettagli staff accogliente. Caratteristico arredamento proveniente dal Kenia. Ci siamo sentiti molto rilassati. L'abbiamo scelto perche dovevamo assistere ad un concerto all'Arena purtroppo la distanza con il centro di Verona è eccessiva e questo ha un po' rovinato il nostro breve soggiorno.

"out of Africa" in Italy

Ich habe vier Tage in diesem Hotel mit meiner Familie verbracht. Das Hotel liegt ca 20 Minuten von Peschiera del Garda entfernt in idyllischer Lage und wird familiär geführt. Das ganze Ambiente ist paradisisch und die Anlage wunderschön und gepflegt. Wegen des afrikanischen Stils hat man fast schon dass Gefühl direkt in Kenia zu sein. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend - wir haben uns jeden Morgen auf das Frühstück gefreut. Tagsüber haben wir uns meistens am Pool aufgehalten - dieser ist schön und gepflegt und auf den Liegen, die überall aufgestellt sind, kann man super entspannen. Es gibt auch eine kleine Bar mit Getränken und Snacks sowie einen Getränkeautomaten wo man sich jederzeit was ziehen kann. Der Pool steht auch anderen Gästen zur Verfügung welche nicht im Hotel wohnen aber als Tagesgäste das Hotel besuchen. Trotzdem war es nie zu eng. Wir hatten einen entspannten Aufenthalt.

Fabuleux!

Accueil formidable et chaleureux au B&B Ca Maddalena! Nous avons eu un soucis avec notre voiture, les employés de l'hôtel se sont pliés en 4 pour nous aider! Le lieu est splendide, un jardin ombragé et comfortablement équipé. Peut etre la piscine est elle un peu petite en cas de forte affluence... Cela dit, un lieu magique pour une détente de 2 jours!

En perle av et B&B!

Tilfeldig at vi kom over denne perlen av et B&B. Nødvendig med bil da det lå langt ute på landet. Veldig hyggelig og vennlig vert (barnebarn av eierene). Lite rom men hyggelig og fint innredet. Det samme var fellesområdene (innredet i afrikansk stil som var både morsomt og vakkert). Nydelig basseng område og svømmebasseng men vær obs på at det blir også benyttet av betalende lokalbefolkning. (fordel er allikevel at det er solsenger til alle og veldig stille på kveld.) Vil varmt anbefale stedet og kommer gjerne tilbake.

Perfekt för familjen!

Mysigt boende med afrikansk inredning som speciellt barnen gillade mycket. Härlig trädgård med trä-djur i verklig storlek. Poolen var fin, men kall då vi var där i maj. Trevlig frukost. Trevlig service! De hjälpte oss att beställa pizza en kväll och dukade åt oss. De har ingen restaurang, men man kunde köpa dricka och lite snacks. Det fanns ett gemensamt vardagsrum med micro, kyl och lite spel. Vi hade även kyl på rummet. Vi hade famljerummet som egentligen var en lägenhet med två sovrum med "prinsess-sängar" (dubbelsängar med sänghimmel) och ett stort vardagsrum och badrum. Mycket rymligt och trevligt. Nära att ta sig till Garda sjön, vingårdar och Venedig eller Verona. Ett mycket bra ställe!!

relax!!

ho soggiornato in questo hotel durante il weekend. Molto particolare l'arredamento in stile africano sia dentro che fuori dall'hotel. La parte esterna è meravigliosa, ha un parco con una piscina, un chiosco e tanto verde! Spero di poterci tornare con il caldo per poter usufruire anche di questo servizio. La colazione ottima, ricca di prodotti freschi e fatti in casa.
