“The property itself met my expectations and was pleasant to stay at, however, upon check-in i was told that there would be an extra cleaning fee (expedia wont let me include the price but it was a good amount). I was a little surprised and wished they had made that more clear before i booked the property, but at that point i had to pay the fee. Following that, we were given a checklist of our duties upon checkout that included stripping the beds, washing all dishes, taking out the trash,……

“PERFECT location on a quiet street in Massanutten Resort. We were able to bring our dog and enjoyed walks on the quiet street mornings and evenings w him. Our three boys had a blast at our first-ever visit to Massanutten Resort: we enjoyed the waterpark, zip line, go-karts/bumper cars, putt-putt and explored (but didn’t have a chance to use) the resort recreation centers with pools, basketball, arcades and pool tables. So much to do - we were never bored. Returning to the house for lunch and……

“We enjoyed our stay at your condo, especially the view. Just wanted to let you know that the remote for the dvd player needs batteries and the coffee maker didn’t work properly. The coffee didn’t flow out right and it overflowed. Other than that, everything was as described. We hope to stay at your beautiful condo again.”

Nice location just outside of Harrisonburg, away from the crowds of students/parents on a very busy weekend, Stay was comfortable and we had plenty of room. Used the big kitchen table to play cards and enjoyed the hot tub on our last night. Thanks!”

“What a pleasant little cottage, centrally located to Harrisburg, Bridgewater, and Staunton with easy access to Shenandoah National Park and several area wineries and breweries. There’s a great porch and deck area to relax and unwind outside, with ample open grassy areas as well.”

“We loved staying in this beautiful house! The layout is perfect for entertaining. We had a great time eating, playing pool, playing cards, and just celebrating our son's graduation from JMU. We also had fun participating in the activities at the resort...go-karts, bumper cars, the zip-line, mini golf, fishing at the lakes, and the scenic chair lift! There was something for everyone!”

“We have been coming to Massanutten for several years with the family. This home was one of our favorites. The home is roomy.(there were 12 of us)...with the two kitchen tables upstairs for everyone to sit at. The location to the ski resort is perfect. The kids enjoyed the game room. We only stayed for a long weekend but I can see that this house would be great for a week vacation with the two kitchens.”

“Property is in a great location! So much to do in the area, winter or summer! Home accommodated our group of four adults and 2 children nicely. Very quiet and relaxing Loved the wildlife - a herd of deer - that walked by the back porch each morning and night!”

“Ample room for a large group. The patio was beautiful and we spent most of our time outside. If you plan to be outside and enjoy a firepit, I would ask for extra gas tanks. You will need to bring cups for coffee, as there are only a few provided and they are not in the best shape. There are no serving dishes, so bring your own (bowls/platters).”

“Bill and Cynthia are such amazing hosts and the property inside and out exemplifies it. What a great place to stay for some serious rural R&R! The property was very clean. They have thought of everything one would need for a delightful get away. If you forgot anything, just ask and they are sure to help one way or another. The Fresh eggs, courtesy of their chickens, were a treat and the farm animals are such fun…esp Posy, Zoey and Hemingway. We hope to return soon for a longer retreat! Thank you……
