“The waterfall was the selling feature for me to book this property, and the lovely sound of the water didn’t disappoint; it lulled me to sleep for 4 wonderful nights. I didn’t even notice my hubby snoring lol The rustic setting was fabulous! Staying in a refurbished 1880s mill was a fun experience, learning the history was fascinating, too. ”

“My husband and I were looking forward to connecting with nature and enjoying a short getaway with our 6mo puppy. We loved everything about this place: the location, the cabin itself and how well-equipped it was, the trails and parks nearby and the gorgeous and peaceful view. It was the perfect reset. I 100% recommend it to anyone who enjoys nature and a slower pace. Instructions left by owner were crystal clear and very effective, she was also super welcoming and responsive to messaging. “We enjoyed our stay in the cabin! The cabin was well equipped with all necessities. It was nice sitting in the rocking chairs and swing on the front porch and looking out into the woods from the back. Only problem was the mosquitos but there was a can of OFF under the bathroom sink! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing and calm vacation that is in close proximity to state park with hiking trails. 20 minute drive to Walmart but it seemed faster.”

The property is a perfect private hideaway with room to move and think. The home housed myself and my five siblings comfortably…very homey with loads of charm and character.
