"Idyllic location on a hill overlooking the ocean with a gorgeous property and bungalow. Knox and Kelera treat their guests like family and are incredibly gracious. They made a lovo dinner for us which was delicious and Knox drove us to all of our day trip destinations filling the driving time with interesting observations about the island and history. One of the nicest vacation stays I have ever experienced. "

"Hilltop Villa was exactly as advertised — wonderful views, beautifully open layout, and excellently staffed. We had a catered dinner for six of us the day we arrived, and the food was first-rate. Same for a later breakfast and lunch. One caution: the walk down to the beach is no more than 15 or 20 minutes, but the walk back uphill can take double the time. The good news: There’s that lovely pool waiting for you when you make it back to the top."

"My partner and I had a wonderful time at this off the grid getaway! The property was gorgeous and well maintained with all the necessities in your bure. Steve and Allison were attentive to all our needs and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The location was remote with the sounds of nature and Fijian life surrounding you. Do not miss out on the blowhole or rainbow reef! Beware the property does require a bumpy drive and wifi is hard to come-by on all of Taveuni. Overall ann amazing stay! "

"Our visit was very disappointing. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures that were uploaded. It was old and run down, with no-one having visited for two years. Also, the description of the hotel was incorrect at best, but more accurately deceptive. Only the bedroom has operating air conditioning (which didn’t work our first night!) and it only works during the night. The furniture is old and falling apart. We had a bees nest in one wall, a wasp nest in the bathroom and ants in every single...

"Mere and the whole team were super helpful, friendly and made it a very nice place to stay. The food is excellent with views of the sunset and the ocean. Very easy access to the beach where you can snorkel, grab a coffee or some more food. Recommend using their local knowledge to book excursions such as scuba diving or trips around the island. Look forward to returning one day!"

Your kitchenette, but we were not prepared for the hotel being so far away from the nearest store or restaurant. Plan ahead. "What a sparkling gem to find Helen and Peter’s place to end our stay in Fiji. Just perfect for the 2 of us. Its quiet, amazing 180 degree views of the ocean and the islands,beautiful garden with the old gracious mango tree and comfortable bed, and value for money compared to our stays in resorts. Helen arranged for delicious home cooked Fijian meals to be delivered to our door at half of the price of elsewhere You can walk to other cafes and supermarket. Peter bought us home baked bread, coconuts , eggs and milk. Highly recommended would come in a heartbeat. Thankyou so much. "
