"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. Amazing dinner but no real town to walk about. This is a great place if you have a car and want to explore nearby beaches. Close to the train station. "The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges...

"Majestic views, stunning sunsets and easy access to the town of Zambrone, Tropes and Pizzo. This home is lovely modern with a fine, workable kitchen, tiled bathrooms and comfortable rooms. With a large community pool (shared by a few homes) and lots of lounge chairs, we enjoyed sitting outside where bright flowers and tasteful landscaping dotted the perimeter of the property. It was spotlessly clean and check in easy."

"We had a wonderful stay in this house. We enjoyed the beautiful views over the sea and the Stromboli volcano, having late breakfast outside in the sun, long dinners in the living room, and quiet evenings on the sofa. Highly recommended!"

"I highly recommend this family owned residence, they go far and behind to meet your expectations. The food was excellent and so was the service. "

"We loved our stay at Hibiscus with our 1yr old son. The lovely team gave us a travel cot, toys for our son and the animals (chickens, ducks, dog) were a hit with him! It walkable (even shorter drive with easy parking) to the beach, easy walk to town. We only wished it had a pool and it would have been even better but that’s our personal preference not an issue with the property. Would highly recommend staying here. Staff are so lovely"

Hotel Rocca della Sena

10/10 Excellent

"This is a lovely hotel in a great location…10-15 minute walk to the old town with restaurants and shops. The ocean views are wonderful with chairs all Ali g side in order to enjoy it. The ocean is reachable by a staircase…lots of stairs but I felt safe using them. Our room was large, beds and pillows were comfy. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast which was included was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were all very friendly. Francesco is the bartender and was always there when we wanted a drink and snacks. He made great Mai Tais. There is a small pool…about twice the size of a hot tub. This little pool came in handy for me when I reached the top of the stairs from the beach…very refreshing. Beautiful outdoor lounges and table and chairs. My one complaint would be their hair dryers…just a nozzle really with hot air. Other than that, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel. "

"Leaking ceilings onto hallway carpeting. Booked in March for a Sept stay and was given an unacceptable room overlooking a roof when I inquired, they change us to at least a street view. Very hot rooms, was not able to control air-conditioning to be cooler, it was controlled by the front desk.🙄😵‍💫 I will say Patricia at the front desk was the most helpful of anyone at this hotel"

"We loved our stay at Hotel Borgo Di Santa Barbara. Easily communicated with hotel manager Martina throughout the duration of our stay through WhatsApp - scheduling transit and shuttles from Aurelio (staff). They were extremely nice our entire stay. The restaurant located on the property La Locanda was amazing, great food, nice and quiet patio outside. Would recommend staying here and would come back!"
