“This is an older but nicely remodeled home. Beautiful views even with a rainy weekend. The lake laps right up to the edge of the property. Very close to town for entertainment but far enough away that you can get alone time. We would make 2 very strong recos. Put up curtains or blinds in the living room; it's disconcerting that the neighbors can see right in. Also, leave an instruction sheet for the TV; it was very challenging trying to figure out how the remote worked and what options were……

“cute place ACROSS the street from the water. It was still very pretty. Unfortunately our wifi was out the whole weekend and the house was ice cold when we arrived. Once the place warmed up we were able to enjoy ourselves”

“There are some inaccuracies in the listing which we pointed out to the host, but it appears after more than a week the listing hasn't been updated. The listing says check in is at 3:00, but didn't received check in instructions until after 5:00. There is an unexpected step down between the main area and the kitchen (which you must go through to get to the bathroom). The building was built on a slab, probably a garage conversion, and sits nearly at ground level. There were numerous earwigs……

“Fished a tournament this week on clear lake it was a perfect spot for a group of guys to stay and be close to the lake”

“Cute & cozy cottage by the bridge. Great walking distance to shops, restaurants & wine. The owner and the care taker made us feel extremely welcome!”

“Amazing spot with a seamless checkin. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook a great meal. We were a gifted a great bottle of wine for our visit. The hot tub was great a great addition. Very private and comfortable spot. Would book again”

“Angelique is a sweetheart and was responsive, and the place was clean. We thought we would at least have a lake view. No view but a fence behind, into carport, & other cabins. None of the hard metal chairs inside or on porch were comfortable to sit on, and neither was couch for lounging. Bed uncomfortable. AC unit loud, and couldnt open bedroom window. Can hear noise from highway close by. Easy walk to lakeshore, but water was toxic from algae and mercury, so advised by a walker to not let dog……

“This place is incredible. Incredibly clean, well equipped, well decorated, in the neatest place. I really can’t say enough good things about it. I actually don’t typically follow up with reviews but wanted to make sure anyone looking at this place knows that they can’t go wrong here. If I could give them 6 stars I would.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the place wasn't quite what we had expected. It was advertised as having lake access and being a great place to swim from the private dock. However, even when we booked, the lake would not have been swimmable due to toxic algae blooms. Before we checked out, we found out from the hotel next door that there is another lake nearby (Blue Lakes) where all the locals go to swm. Wish we would have known about that earlier. Would recommend staying here but then going to……

“I hosted all of my friends for my husbands birthday party. It was the perfect venue to get away from it all-- enough lodging for our friends, and great privacy. The owner checked us in and out, but other than that we were on our own-- exactly how we wanted it :) Houses are perfectly appointed with plenty of supplies for cooking and eating. We enjoyed a movie on the big screen and projecter. I run a small business and in the future I'm planning on bringing my employees for a work retreat. Rooms……

“The outdoor spa tub was broken, the water in it was full of garbage (the kids were disappointed), there was no ping pong table like in the photo, the curtains in the living room were dirty, there was no laundry detergent (had to call for delivery) and not enough quilts ( Had to call for delivery), mice were running from the ceiling at night.”
