“This is my second time at the Lodge. Both times I had a very good experience. It is a great place to stay when you want to visit The Victoria Falls. They will arrange special activities for you. Very well managed property. By the way, great breakfast too !!!!”

“We stayed two nights here and I wish we could have stayed a little longer. The signature rooms was very nice with a queen size bed, double rainfall showers/sinks and a outside porch where you can watch the wildlife walk by. One thing to consider is the showers/bath are open concept so its kinda like you are bathing in the open room with just a small partition separating from the bed (not an issue for me as I was staying alone). The shuttle was very convenient to get to the falls and other areas……

“Batonka Lodge was booked as part of a package trip that we did to Africa. However, we extended our trip so stayed two additional nights at the Lodge. The lodge is small compared to some other places that have recently been built or being built but it was just right. It had a really cozy colonial feel to it. The staff were incredibly attentive and couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. The food was great and the rooms were clean and spacious. There was a shuttle bus to town but you could also……

The furnishing of the rooms are quite old, the bath rooms especially very basic. Breakfast area is good in outdoor garden. Dinner there is not acceptable, the food is poor and service bad.”

“My wife and I stayed at the Stanley & Livingstone Falls Hotel for our honeymoon, and we could have not picked a better place. The suites were beautiful. The restaurant's food was amazing. (Even asked for some recipes!) The staff was stellar. (Everyone was amazingly helpful and friendly. (I wanted to give shout outs to both our assigned room service and restaurant staff; unfortunately, I missplaced my notes with everyone's names. Ugh.) From our suite's balcony, we could look out into the Victoria……

“Small lodgings, but definitely worth the price. Not fancy, but does the job (you don't travel to Vic Falls to lounge in your room, right?) Really really great staff, good wifi, breakfast is homemade for each person, 24 hour security. It is not large so some taxi drivers need to use GPS. Walkable (a bit of a hike) to Victoria Falls itself as well as restaurants (20-ish minutes) or a quick ride (look up "In Drive" for best rates!) Shuttle from airport for small fee. Would definitely go back!”
