“A brand new salt box house: it's bright, airy, got loads on windows, and fabulous ceilings (yes, ceilings: I'm a bit of architecture nerd). Visitors should be aware that a salt box design requires a steep staircase, and, yes, the staircase is steep. It's also extremely well lit, girded with rails, and designed with good deep steps with raised edges. I felt safe on it, even when my arthritis meant I had to walk sideways down the steps with both hands on the rail. The house itself is lovely and……

“North River is stunning! The pictures cannot depict its beauty inside and out! Spacious enough for all 8 of us. Fully equipped with everything we needed. We made good use of the hot tub and pool. We even had an Eagle sitting on our vehicle! The views to the outdoors are beautiful all around! Would definitely stay here again, the next time we visit. ”

“This home was lovely. It was beautifully appointed and in a beautiful location. Looking out the window at Cupids Cove, fishing boats, whales, eagles and other birds was entertaining. Owners were attentive and responded quickly though there really were no issues. We loved our vacation there. ”

The house was very clean and there didn’t seem to be anything missing, making our stay very comfortable. Adrienne returned our queries promptly which we appreciated. “Well we got to the house that we had rented. Unfortunately the house was locked up. The house was not ready for us or anyone. The person who put it up for rent did not communicate to their spouse. Fortunately a neighbor across the road let us stay in her house.”

“This was an absolute gem! The porch overlooking the bay was a great place for our morning coffee's ( whale sighting included!) And the fire pit was a a lovely way to end our evenings. It is in a excellent location, with reasonable drives to St. Johns, the Irish Loop and Trinity. It was very clean and comfortable for 3 adults and 1 child, and easily could have comfortably fit 2 more people. I would highly reccomend staying here! ”
