The location of the property was excellent because it was close to the tram. However, on our first night we were assigned supposedly a 'premium room' on the first floor which is bigger than the normal room. We were informed it was for people with disability with strings to pull and buttons to used in case of emergency. None of us were disabled and it was easy to push the button accidentally (as we did) in the middle of the night. Furthermore there were stains on the carpet which suggested to us the room was not very clean. For the next two days of our stay, we requested a change of room but the staff seemed to be unwilling to do since they were supposedly to be booked. I had to contact Expedia to make sure the rooms we were to return to were o.k. We returned to a normal room for the next two nights. Although it was smaller, it was good enough... clean and had the necessary amenities.

Lovely!

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. I would absolutely stay again. Breakfast was amazing and the coffee is good. The hotel is close to everything but there aren’t many options for food later evening, and when I asked, room service was not available.

Hotel Niu is modern and comfortable. The room is nice, with a comfortable bed. We missed having a fridge and more space to store our clothes, but this did not spoil our experience. All the staff were very attentive. The breakfast was very good, with many options, but a little expensive. Transportation was very convenient; the main attractions in the center of Vienna were easily reached by tram (less them 20 min). I recommend the accommodation.
