Welcome to Oasis, a brand new Vieques rental
The loft like interior features two air conditioned bedrooms with new queen beds. The living area is perfect for conversation or watching a movie. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and outdoor BBQ grill. There is a large dining table and breakfast bar. Ceiling fans throughout the home add island charm and cooling breezes.
The terrace offers cool to the touch coral tiling, another large dining table, conversation area, four chaise lounges, outdoor shower, horizon ocean views and the sound of distant crashing waves.
The town of Isabel Segunda II and ferries to the main island are a few minutes walk. In town you will find grocery stores, gourmet and natural food stores, art galleries, shops, banking, ATM, restaurants and bars.
Several Atlantic beaches for snorkeling, swimming and surfing are a 10 minute walk.
We have been vacationing on Vieques Island for more than 15 years. Let us help you plan your vacation in paradise.

We loved this property. The pool and pool area were amazing. Everything we needed inside including lots of kitchen supplies, towels, cooler for the beaches.Very clean and lovely! Easy walk into town with shopping and food close by.The property manager was very helpful.Oasis made our stay in Vieques perfect.

Lovely pool

We really enjoyed the pool area and were able to relax and unwind. Now that we’ve had a pool I think it’s going to be a requirement for all of my future bookings on Vrbo. Great communication from Aurelio. House is exactly as described and a/c in bedrooms works really well. Comfy beds. Walking distance to a few places for food/drinks. Safe, quiet street without a lot of people - some of the homes appear to be uninhabitable. Vieques has become crowded with tourists but the beaches are still gorgeous and empty feeling. And the bio bay is amazing!

Convenience and Comfort

We loved this house! We enjoyed exploring all that Vieques has to offer but coming home each day was a delight. We recently spent 8 days and hope to be able to come back someday. The pool and patio were great. We enjoyed most dinners and breakfasts on the patio. The well equipped kitchen meant we didn't have to go out all the time. However, we loved being in walking distance of dining and shopping. We can recommend Coqui Fire, Biekes Bistro, and Lydia's bakery. The house was perfect for my husband and me I'm sure it would also work well for a small family or two young couples.

Great stay!

Walk to the ferry and shops! Off street parking spot!! Cool off in the lovely pool and relax in the lovely back yard after a day of beaches. We greatly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, convenient, and well supplied home. You will need transportation to the beaches. The best ones are remote, so reserve a car ahead of time.

Family Adventures

Ray and Aurelio were both incredibly communicative since our booking date. They know the island very well, and we’re a huge help to the 4 of us as we got the lay the land. We had our 12 and 15 yr old sons with us, and they’re at the perfect ages to start this type of adventure travel and they absolutely loved the pool on the property. We had a very special time.

Relaxing by the pool in a quiet location

Our host was excellent, very responsive, the house was perfect for us and the pool was magnificent. The neighbors were friendly and the property managers were quick to respond to inquiries. Will definitely go back. This is the Vieques we always knew.

Clean, bright and tight

A wonderful base for exploring Vieques. The pool, rooms, and orientation to the island could not be better. We were met at the airport and directed to the house by a hospitable steward and made to feel at home right away.

Oasis - Aptly Named!

Ray was the consummate host, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was delightful! The property is clean and modern with a beautiful pool/patio area. Wifi worked consistently and well. Beds were comfortable and we loved the pegs for hanging clothes - we could see everything we brought! Aurelio the property manager was joyful and full of helpful information. The island is beautiful, low key and friendly. Ray made beach visits an easy experience by having chairs, umbrella, coolers etc ready to go. I highly recommend this property!

Delightful house, magnificent garden

The house is conveniently situated, very comfortable, and extremely well-equipped. Its crowning glory, however, is the back garden, where we spent many happy hours, swimming in the wonderful pool or just lounging around, looking at the lovely planting and the views of the sea during the day, and the amazing stars at night. Ray and his local agent, Aurelio, could not have been more helpful, responding quickly to all communications. Thank you both! A fantastic property, highly recommended.

Great stay!

Adorable house with a fantastic back yard/pool. An easy walk to the ferry and to grocery, restaurants etc. Vieques is very much open and ready for business, the bio bay is better than ever, and with the plastic bag ban, the beaches are beautiful and perfectly clean. Puerto Rico never disappoints! Coqui Fire is a great meal and the farmer’s market is a must do for produce.

Our Family had an excellent vacation!

The house was exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed. The caretaker had good tips and got right back to us when we had a quick question. The house was super clean. My 7 year old son and husband packed a small fishing rod and walked down to the ferry dock every am to fish, they caught several fish and saw a 200 lb Tarpin (they might be exaggerating?!) Vieques was a very friendly safe feeling island, we rented a car which was a necessity and allowed us to explore many beaches. It felt good to spend money and support a community that is working hard to rebuild. The only small comment is that there are A lot of roosters on the island with unique sleep schedules so ear plugs are a good idea! It was an excellent time!

Your Own private oasis close to town

What a great place! The ”Oasis Moroppo” is the correct name for the property and is indeed an oasis. The back patio has a beautiful pool with waterfall and plenty of chairs with which to relax after an exhausting day at the beach. AND, you get a breeze and a view of the ocean! There’s an outdoor shower (cold water only) and a washer and dryer in case you need to do a load of laundry. The place was immaculate and well-equipped if you want to prepare meals at home. Nice gas grill on the back patio. The house is an easy five minute walk into town for coffee, ice cream, shopping, etc. Beach chairs and plenty of towels were available. The bedrooms were small but comfortable. We found that we were happy that it was just the two of us, because there’s no place to hang or store clothes or stow your suitcases. So we just used one bedroom for sleeping and one for our dressing room! We were greeted promptly upon arrival by Aurelio, the property manager, and brought right to the house. For us it was a seamless experience and one we’ certainly do again. On another note, Vieques is slowly coming back from their hurricane damage and many of the former restaurants and hotels haven’t rebuilt/returned yet, but things are getting back to normal . There are plenty of places to eat and drink and the beaches are still beautiful—give Vieques a try!

It truly is an oasis in paradise

We travel a lot and usually use VRBO's when on vacation. This is by far one our favorites. It truly is an oasis in paradise. The place is not large but the layout is excellent so in the end it has more than enough room to feel comfortable (we were a couple that prefers to spend time together other than when asleep). The beds are good, many fans around (and in each bedroom) to keep the air moving, and the living room is comfortable to relax in at night. And if you think the Vieques air is too hot (which I did not), there are air conditioners in each bedroom. By far our favorite part of this VRBO was the back living area and pool. They have managed to create a backyard that feels very secluded and not in a bad way. The outdoor furniture is both attractive and comfortable. The pool is small but lovely. Every morning we drank our coffee out back by the pool and started the day with a dip. Nothing like a dip in cool water to wake you up. The waterfall into the pool is both visually attractive and great white noise... it gives the feeling that you are all alone in the world (with whoever you want beside you!). Days were spent exploring or at the beach. We always ended our day back at the pool, either eating dinner at the outdoor table or just taking some time at home before heading out to dinner. Seriously - we spent two weeks there and were really sad to leave. We really hope to make it back to Vieques and if this place is available, we'll most certainly rent it again. But any VRBO user knows that the property owner and property manager as just as important as the house. The place was immaculate. Extremely clean. Both Ray (owner) and Aurelio (manager) were fantastic. They kept in touch, even when we did not need anything. Aurelio gave us great tips about the island upon our arrival. And in the rare instance we did need something (the clothes washer was acting strange), Aurelio was there quickly and got the problem resolved with efficiency and without interrupting our vacation time. The place is also walking distance to a beach with good snorkeling (sea glass beach) and many shops and restaurants. Driving to the other beaches takes about 20 minutes. The place was stocked well with beach chairs, coolers and an umbrella, all of which we used. Best restaurant in Isabel II is Coqui Fire... don't miss it! And remember, only visit Vieques if you want to stay on an island off of an island... and get what that means!

Close, comfortable, convenient

Extremely well stocked... 2 minutes from the ferry and El Yati (best grouper ever!) Plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy. The pool is fabulous! The horses meandering past and the roosters at sunrise are charming and authentic! I wouldn't change a thing.... there is even off street parking and you should rent a jeep to explore the island -Maritzas was great

Big Love for this small house

Location close to the ferry dock was convenient. Well stocked kitchen and beach supplies. Beautiful back patio and pool that was private and spacious. Rooms have great AC and fans throughout the small house were awesome! Only minor issue is that there is not much in the way of storage in the bedrooms for clothing or suitcases.
