"We arrived by ferry and ate dinner in town before trying to make our way to the bed and breakfast at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. We could not get an uber or taxi, so took the last packed bus of the night. With 4 adults and luggage, kind locals held suitcases on their laps. The best part of the room was the balcony, where we watched the total lunar eclipse, and then a beautiful sunrise. The breakfast was wonderful and the host most helpful. "Piccirillo Holiday Home was a joy, the property was kitted out with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spotless and our host Carlo had provided milk tea, coffee and the makings a a few continental breakfasts. He picked us up from Salerno railway station and took us back when our stay was over.
