Coconut Bay Beach Resort did not disappoint! Food/restaurants are all great, rooms are clean and large. Being on the Atlantic side there is at times Sargassum on the beach and it is very windy. A tractor is constantly clearing the beach so there are stretches where there is no seaweed and getting in and out of the water is just fine. Staff are always friendly and happy to help. Don't miss the petting zoo. We saw baby goats that still had the umbilical cord hanging and were still getting their legs solidly under them. Try the Cocoa tea, it's only available in the morning at the buffet/pastry station. The chocolate on the island is amazing! Way tastier than what I'm used to.Don't forget to try The Jerk Treehouse and Flip Flops for snacks. Excellent offerings.Lot's to do or just relax by the pools and hot tubs. Absolutely a great vacation spot for couples or families.

The staff at Coconut Bay are excellent. All of them were very friendly but a couple stood out. Thomas at the Harmony pool bar was always smiling and very friendly. He would go above and beyond. Shekina in coconut walk restaurant was super. She greets everyone with a smile and a kind word. She also went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. All the staff was so great. We really enjoyed the lazy river and did it everyday. We enjoyed all the food. The food was better than expected. We especially enjoyed the jerk treehouse. One tip is if you want an early reservation at Silk or Calabash you need to be at the reservation desk at 2:30. Otherwise the only reservations will be at 8:00 or 8:30. That was the only disappointing thing about the resort was trying to get reservations for Silk and Calabash. We loved the resort overall and will definitely go back.

Bed is very comfortable. We had to pay for drinks in bar fridge which they forgot to deliver 1 out of 3 nights but when we called desk they sent the drinks. The staff is extremely friendly. The food was okay. We did not love Silk the Asian restaurant. Portions were small and it was just like regular Chinese food. Calabash was pretty tasty. Italian brought wrong pizza but it was still tasty. We couldn’t sit on our beautiful balcony because of all the smokers puffing away and it drove us into our room each night. That may not be resorts fault but they should put smokers somewhere away from non smokers. Had a decent anniversary trip and was able to relax.

The staff was the best group of people I’ve ever met. They were so kind caring and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The food was great. Some people from our group of 13 did the hike to the top of the hill. Not all made it just FYI it’s very steep at the top. The pictures were amazing from the top though. Our group‘s new favorite beer is Piton. The local beer that’s named after the mountains there. Just an FYI, the alcohol served there gave me heartburn so I just stuck with beer. The Pacific Ocean is right at your feet, but due to the current there tends to be a lot of seaweed which they do clean up daily. For the true beach experience walk a short way down the beach to Coconut Bay paradise Beach. There’s a great bar, chairs and hammocks. You can even get a ride in a golf cart if you don’t wanna walk. We also were shuttled to a dock for a sunset cruise. The shows in the buffets were amazing. We were lucky enough to be there over New Year’s Eve and they did an amazing job and the best fireworks I’ve ever seen. If you do plan to go for the holidays book a year ahead. For reasons out of our control, we were stuck there for a few more days. The resort was able to accommodate our group for one night and they were gracious enough to only charge us half price. We ended up changing resorts to the far north end of the island, which is the Caribbean Sea. We stayed at a chain Resort with a cove. It was huge & beauThe staff was not nearly as polite, caring and helpful.

Our Harmony room (ground floor, adults only) was clean, modern and very comfortable. For an all-inclusive hotel catering for many people, the food was excellent. The Jerk Treehouse was a firm favourite for lunch and we very much enjoyed sushi at Silk and steak at Calabash. The breakfast buffet was fab too - really enjoyed the french toast. The New Year Eve Gala Dinner was incredible - such a variety of great food including scallops, lobster, shrimp, roast beef and fresh pasta. The reception team arranged to relocate us when we were unhappy with the first room we were allocated (opposite reception and very noisy) - this seems to be where the 2 x queen bed rooms are located. Our second room had 1 x king bed, was peaceful and had plenty of space to unpack, relax and dry swimwear outside. The beach bar is fab but the beach itself (on the atlantic side of the island) is windy and the sea can be quite choppy. Snorkelling and swimming was more pleasant on the Caribbean side of the island which we visited during the second week of our holiday. Highly recommend arranging excursions through 'Captain Jack Sparrow' on the beach - our tour guide (Jimmy) was brilliant and took us on a private tour in an air conditioned mini-van with drinks at a lower price than the excursion desk in the hotel lobby. It's best to get your restaurant reservations in early as many were fully booked in early January. The pool tables are pretty worn and need levelling and re-surfacing.

This place has been fantastic. The people are very friendly and very helpful, especially today after our flight was cancelled. The food has been incredible. A great place to visit!
