Beautiful Villa in fantastic Location

Thankyou for such a wonderful holiday. The villa was very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished . It has a large pool that isn’t overlooked and fantastic views. We would definitely come back .

Fantastic house with beautiful pool and view!

A fantastic lovely house! Lots of space and privacy. A nice pool. A great and beautifully maintained garden. And the view was to die for. We enjoyed our stay very much. Fully equipped house. The hostess was very friendly, responded very quickly to messages and was able to help us when we needed something. Thank you very much!

Wonderful place

We loved our week in this fabulous place. The house is really comfortable and well-equipped, with lots of different places to sit and eat outside or enjoy the wonderful view. We much appreciated the many small extra touches which made us feel at home, including fresh bread and breakfast things waiting on arrival, books, games and beach towels. (The big pile of Asterix books and the National Geographic were much enjoyed in our group.) The area is really beautiful and unspoilt, with lovely beaches about 45 minutes drive away and plenty to explore closer to home including rivers and waterfalls to swim in. It was very hot when we were there but we would love to come back when cooler to do some longer walks. The wifi was great in the living area, not so good in the bedrooms (which is also perhaps a plus!)

Lovely Villa, great location.

My family consisted five adults, two children aged 5 and two infants. The Villa is in a beautiful location on a hillside overlooking a valley, if you are seeking seclusion, peace and quiet and out of the rat race, this is for you. A very well appointed Villa, well equipped a lovely pool and garden area that the kids really enjoyed and is ideal for barbecues. The owner Adria was lovely too, very helpful and her attention to detail was great. Would certainly recommend this place to others. Ray and family August 2022

An outstanding holiday in a wonderful house

This property is a beautiful old renovated farmhouse, well equipped and big enough for nine of us. The views are spectatular and eating our evening meal on the terrace looking down over the valley was a real highlight of the day. The pool is large and carefully fenced in. The children had many happy hours there. Northern Portugal is a great place to be and Adria was always on hand if we needed her, as a good host. Many thanks. We would love to come again one day.

Superb vacation! Great house, setting & area.

We are the 5th to review and we second all that was said before. We have spent a week during August 2011: two families with a total of 4 adults and 4 kids; 6,7 and 8 years old. House was plenty big and comfortable for our group. We are lucky enough to spend over 12 weeks every year on vacation in Europe and the US, always renting houses for our family. This is definitely one of those properties that as you walk in you immediately realize the photos and description on the internet DO NOT do it justice - it is MUCH better. The only real problem is that once you settle in, next to the swimming pool, you no longer feel like leaving to explore the area....

very nice place and classical house in the mountain with incredible view and nice swimming pool we had a lovelytime here with the whole family, 9 pax and 2 dogs you just have to keep in mind you are tucked in the mountain and need about 30mn to the next supermarket, but this was just perfect for us from there you can easely visit Braga, Porto, Guimaraes, Ponte de Lima etc... and go to the sea it was perfect also with the dogs as there are many hiking trails in the mountains just around the house thank you Adria, it was nice to meet you

Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment sehr wohl. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und bietet gerade für größere Gruppen viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Die Terasse lässt sich super gut nutzen für gemeinsame Mahlzeiten. Der Pool war angenehm groß und das Salzwasser im Pool hat wirklich wenig gestört. Dafür gibt es auch direkt am Pool ein kleines Poolhaus mit Dusche und WC. Wir können das Haus wirklich nur empfehlen!Die Gegend ist weniger touristisch aber dafür hat man mehr Ruhe und entspannte Sandstrände.

Virkelig dejligt sted, smuk udsigt, behageligt klima, masser af plads i boligen, hyggelig og rustik indretning, meget rent, og med en dejlig og stor pool. Vi var 7 personer, voksne og teenagere, og havde en skøn ferie her. Alt hvad man skal bruge er tilgængeligt, udlejer er venlig og svarer øjeblikkeligt. Vi kan virkelig anbefale stedet.

Perfekt zum Entspannen....

Gern wieder!!! Wir haben 10 schöne Tage in dem traditionellen Haus verbracht. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist dort richtig. Das Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt. Aussicht und Pool außergewöhnlich. Das Haus sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin lief problemlos.

Idyllisch gelegenes Haus mit pool

Großes Haus. Etwas einsam gelegen, mit schönem Blick ins Tal. Auto unbedingt notwendig. Schöner Pool, aber leider sind die Sonnenliegen kaputt und müssen unbedingt ausgetauscht werden. Sonst recht gute Ausstattung. Sehr netter Service, Frühstück- Erstaustattung im Kühlschrank. Schöner Garten.

Fantastisch familiehuis op het Portugese platteland!

Met ons gezin en de familie (7) hebben we genoten van een heerlijke week in dit fantastische huis. Het is stijlvol en compleet ingericht, je grijpt nergens op mis. De omgeving is landelijk en rustig. Je hebt een mooi uitzicht over de valei en in het zwembad is het goed vertoeven. Bij aankomst waren er verse broodjes, melk en zelfs een flesje wijn. We hebben ons erg welkom gevoeld. De gastvrijheid van Adria en haar coöperatie en flexibiliteit zijn ons erg goed bevallen. Echt een paradijs in Noord Portugal op een uurtje rijden van Porto!

Estivemos em Covas, um fim de semana excelente. Claro que o tempo ajudou. Mas a casa e as suas comodidades foram imprecindiveis. A piscina e a sua vista permitiram usufruir do sol de uma forma unica. Vamos voltar!

Um Ótimo refúgio inserido na natureza

A propriedade correspondeu às expetativas, é um ótimo local para umas férias em família sobretudo com crianças pequenas. A casa é muito espaçosa e equipada com tudo o que é necessário e os locais no exterior muito bonitos. A piscina é muito boa e as vistas são fantásticas. O local é super tranquilo rodeado de natureza.
