A super 10 stars place you will remember

I have great time to stay this guesthouse, wonderful arrangement to pick me up from train station, that’s what I saw the review from other guest and I followed. The location is good, walking distance to the train station, because I did day trips to the nearby little towns by train. After all, Francy is a very good manager (I didn’t ask her if she is the owner) and very helpful. I really really appreciate what you did, Francy!

It was very pleasant and enjoyable. Our host was exceptional, she actually came and picked us up and took us to the hotel. And in the morning she took us back to the train station which is where we pick up the ferry. Absolutely unbelievable. Nothing to say but very very good things. An exceptional stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Villa Princi is a beautyfull old house which has been renovated. Our room was clean and the bed was fine. The host was extremely helpful and picked us up at the harbour late in the evening. She even found a pizzaria where we could get a meal.

Lovely quiet villa

Francesca is a delightful hostess. We walked from the station up to her place, but she felt bad when she found out. Apparently it is her practice to pick up and drop off guests at the station, which is very sweet. Just message her on WhatsApp for that. The villa is lovely and clean, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon ands the city was strangely silent. Siesta time, perhaps? Enjoyed the ocean view from our private balcony. Breakfast was a selection of sweet breads. Francesca recommended Mauni pizza for dinner and it was good.

We were on a big road trip and had lots of driving. That made it difficult to know our exact arrival time and also we would mostly arrive late because we had a long stretch of drive in the evening. One of the major reasons we booked Villa Princi was that it clearly stated 24h check-in and 24h front-desk. Sadly this is not true. It’s a B&B after all. The same afternoon we realized we did not get any checkin information. Then it was very hard to reach anyway which caused some stress for us and thoughts of “What if we arrive and nobody is there? We can’t get it? Do we need to sleep in the car”? We eventually reached Francesca and she was very nice. I give her the benefit of the doubt because she was traveling and coming back home the same day as us at midnight. So I am still giving a good review. But I suggest to update the 24h front desk accordingly. Apart from this, the Villa is very nice and we are sad we couldn’t spend more time. Staff (and Francesca) ended up being very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good. And parking was very easy too. There are enough spots in the driveway.

Stayed here for almost two weeks and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Villa Princi was clean, quiet, and really comfortable. Easy to get around and in a great location for exploring both Calabria and Sicily. I actually spent the first 5 days driving around Sicily. The host was incredibly helpful. She gave me dining tips, pointed me to legit olive oil spots, and had some nice pastries and even some eggs if requested. Breakfast was perfect for me. This was my home base while I bounced around the region chasing pasta, wine, peppers, and granita. It felt like staying at a friend’s place, not some cookie-cutter rental. If you want something peaceful, local, and convenient, this place just works. Perfect place if you just need a room to sleep, shower, and have breakfast. I’d stay again without hesitation (and probably will). Scilla was my favorite and it was only 20 minutes away. Reggio is also just 20 minutes away.

Lovely view

This was a lovely hotel. In a quiet neighbourhood but still within walking distance of train station. The owner offered to pick us up and drop us off but we preferred to walk. The room was large with a beautiful view, comfortable bed and very good bathroom. Everything was clean. There was also a nicely landscaped garden and outdoor seating areas. Breakfast was freshly made and more than sufficient. I would happily return.

La villa è molto bella e la proprietaria si è dimostrata gentile e disponibile, qualità che ho apprezzato. Purtroppo però l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. La camera era sporca, con una maniglia rotta, e il bagno non si trovava all’interno della stanza ma all’esterno, cosa poco comoda. Quello che mi ha deluso di più è stata la mancanza di attenzione ai dettagli: carta igienica già iniziata, sacchetti del supermercato al posto dei sacchetti in camera/bagno, bagno senza finestra e senza bidet, shampoo e balsamo finiti prima del nostro arrivo, un paio di mutande lasciate sul terrazzo dall’ospite precedente, tantissime sigarette spente nei vasi e polvere diffusa. La colazione è stata un’altra grande pecca: nessuna possibilità di scelta, solo un cornetto surgelato e bruciato a testa con un pezzo di crostata, e nemmeno un bicchiere d’acqua offerto. Considerato il livello della struttura, ci si aspetterebbe sicuramente di più. È stata un’esperienza di una sola notte che purtroppo non rifarei.

Ho recentemente soggiornato al B&B "Villa Princy" e posso dire che è stata un'esperienza fantastica. Situato in una zona tranquilla, ma comunque vicino alle principali attrazioni turistiche e sl terminal dei traghetti, questo B&B offre un'accoglienza calda e familiare. Le camere sono spaziose, arredate con gusto e dotate di tutti i comfort necessari per un soggiorno piacevole. La pulizia è impeccabile e si nota l'attenzione ai dettagli. Ogni mattina, la colazione è un vero piacere: una selezione di prodotti freschi, dolci fatti in casa e un ottimo caffè che ti dà la giusta carica per affrontare la giornata. Un altro punto forte di "Villa Princy" è l'ospitalità dei proprietari,sempre disponibili e pronti a consigliare i luoghi da visitare nei dintorni hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più speciale. In sintesi, "Villa Princy" è il posto ideale per chi cerca relax e comfort. Non vedo l'ora di tornare!

Zeer prettige ontvangst nadag we vanaf het station en de haven waren komen lopen. De eigenaresse had geprobeerd ons te bellen om ons op te halen van het station. Het is een kwartier lopen, maar met bagage de berg op is wel een uitdaging. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst in een prachtige villa met brandschone kamers. Mooi uitzicht over zee en naar Sicilië.

Bien sûr cet endroit est somptueux, la vue est magnifique à partir du balcon, le lit et la literie sont impeccables mais la qualité de l'accueil n'a pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes. J'ai besoin d'un frigo pour conserver l'insuline que je dois transporter en déplacement mais ce dernier ne fonctionnait pas.On nous a demandé à quelle heure on voulait prendre le petit déjeuner et une demi-heure après l'heure fixée il n'y avait toujours personne. On a dû partir sans manger... GRRRR! Nous n'avons pas apprécié d'avoir une toilette dans un corridor ni de n'avoir même pas de miroir dans la chambre. En plus, le lieu a été difficile à trouver par le taxi, ce qui en a fait augmenté le prix . Bref, nous ne recommaderions pas cet hébergement à des amis.

Camera spaziosa, letto e bagno spettacolari, siamo stati davvero bene. A voler proprio trovare un piccolo neo, manca il frigobar, che sarebbe comodo. Dai traghetti dista 5 minuti di auto. Colazione non molto ricca ma sufficiente

Very comfortable and quiet. Our room had the best most comfortable bed we’ve ever had. We were well looked after. Would stay again next time. Our room had a nice sea view and large balcony.
