"Das Haus ist wunderschön, der Garten und der Pool sind ein absolutes Highlight. Man hat Ruhe und kann sich umgeben von Feldern und Wald hervorragend erholen. Trotzdem sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Region mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Jeder der gerne fernab vom Trubel Urlaub machen möchte ist hier mehr als richtig. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Im Haus hat es an nichts gefehlt. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub! "

"We have booked several holidays through VRBO . This was the best. Our hosts Jim & Jo were excellent and provided clear directions to the propery. We spent a wonderful restful week at their lovely cottage. Ideal location for exploring the many Bastide villages in the area. Cottage has every facility necessary for an enjoyable stay including lovely heated pool. The cottage has been thoughtfully restored by the owners. "Gite propre, mais odeur de renfermé qui persiste dès que les portes et fenêtres sont fermées. Bon confort literie sauf le lit gigogne dont le bruit des lattes est insupportable pour le lit du bas. On a du dû déménager ma fille dans le clic clac du salon. Cuisine équipée sauf couteaux pour cuisiner, eau très calcaire donc dépôts dans la bouillir et traves de blanc sur la vaisselle qui sort du lave vaisselle. Conseil : faites votre vaisselle à la main. "After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. "

"Charming and very comfortable place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff - my wife is coeliac and they ensured there were options for her at breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good quality. Strawberries and biscuits in the room on arrival were a nice touch. Parking was arranged with the hotel before arrival and worked well in the covered car park which was only around 5 Minute walk. The hotel is in the centre of Sarlat and the square is literally just around the corner. Overall a fantastic stay and we will not hesitate to stay again. "
