Good stay, but food options disappointed us

We were in general happy about our stay. The cabin was nice and the playground and pool area is lovely for the children. However the quality and variation of food has gone down, since I visited last year, which was a disappointment to us. We use public transport and because of the remote place with limited bus connections, we were relying fully on food from Björckbackan. Be aware, that transport to Astrid Lindgrens Verden is a Challenge, unless you use taxi service.

I think the hotel rooms might be really good! But the cabin we rented... Without insulation (= damp & cold) half broken fridge, hard beds, no water.. Migth fit Young kids on their first vacation - not so suitable for a middle aged couple.

I did not understand that the poolarea was not part of the campsite but something you had to pay for ekstra... I still find that quite hard to read from your webside. in addition you don´t mention that the visitors are obligated to tidy the cabin. With these 2 things in mind the price is very high

Pleasant Stay with Good Service – But Missed Healt

We were two adults and three children staying overnight in a cabin. The space in the cabin was a bit tight, but it worked fine for a couple of days. All the cabins are close to the service building, which had everything we needed. The service building was nice and clean during our stay. We charged our electric car, which also worked well. I would have liked a selection of food, especially for our children, to be more accessible. It gets to be a bit too much pizza and fries. However, we didn’t try the restaurant, as we mainly spent time by the pool and enjoyed the available activities.

The pool was dirty and you need to pay for it.

The pool does not belong to the hotel/cabins you need to pay to access it, and it’s very dirty and cloudy water. The cabins are okay’ish, but there is not enough toilets for peak season. Two major roads and each side makes a lot of noise and makes it unsafe for small kids. Feels like they take advantage of Astrid Lindsgrens Verden close by, and therefor neglect good service and cleaning as there will always be guests. We booked for 4 days and left after 2. We can not get a refund.

No toilet or bath in cabins

No shower or toilet in the cabin even though it says this under the booking information on hotel.com. We would never have booked this place if we knew this was the case and we chose to travel on as we could not stay under such conditions. The campsite tried on the day of departure to move us to a room instead, but not during check in. And they would not compensate us for the booking we did not use. In addition, everything at the campsite is associated with extra fees. Overall a really bad experience that we would not recommend.

Charmant, süß, guter Aufenthalt für ein paar Tage

Wir waren im August 2025 mit vier Personen (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder 6 und 8) für drei Nächte auf diesem Campingplatz. Die kleinen Holzhäuser sind wirklich niedlich und die Kinder fanden es ganz toll, unter dem Dach zu schlafen. Die Terrasse ist groß und lädt zum Draußen Frühstücken ein. Das Waschhaus war nicht zu weit weg und bot die Annehmlichkeit von Waschmaschine (gegen Gebühr), Backofen, Herd und Mikrowellen. Kochen war also kein Problem. Warm duschen kostet extra, ebenso wie der Poolbereich Eintritt kostet (25 € für drei Personen). Nachts wurde es in der Holzhütte ziemlich kalt. Wir fanden es sehr charmant und süß und sind froh, dass wir diesen Campingplatz besucht haben. Die Kinder hatten auch viel Spaß am Pool und beim Minigolf (ca 14 € für uns 4). Nach drei Nächten waren wir aber alle froh, weiter zu ziehen und wieder mehr Platz und Komfort zu haben.

Der mangler el kontakter i bordhøjde, så hvis man har glemt forlængerledning, skal vandet og kaffen laves på gulvet. Der var heller ingen skæreknive. Men ellers et godt et godt familie sted

Beskidt, beskidt og beskidt. Pool var møg ulækker, og man blev endda opkrævet enten pr.dag eller for hele opholdet for at kunne bade i algevsnd. Toiletter beskidte. Fælleskøkken virkede komfur ikke optimalt. Hytter var slidte.

Gullig men sunkig campingkänsla

Stannade två nätter med väninna och våra barn. Tog en stuga för sex personer. Högt pris (motsvarande en bättre hotellnatt i Stockholm) per natt. Stugan var söt utanpå men minimal med ett loft där man med lite tur hade fått plats med två extremt små, korta och icke-klaustrofobiska individer. Stugan saknade vatten men hade köksavlopp. Madrasserna var gamla och tyvärr hade vägglössen hittat hem i minst en av dem (konstaterade bett efteråt). I övrigt var miljön enkel men renlig. Dusch, städning, sängkläder, poolbad mm fick man betala extra för. Campingen låg också precis bredvid en högt trafikerad väg. Mao var det ett okej (om än mindre hygieniskt med tanke på vägglössen) boende för att ha någonstans att sova, men kommer inte att bli ett förstahandsval i framtiden.

Har potential och fantastisk personal

Det här ett boende med potential men som den duktiga personalen har svårt att förverkliga. Det framgår inte på bokningssidan hos hotels.com att man får betala extra för: - Lakan och handduk - Dusch (per minut) - Inträde till poolområdet Det är en mycket enkel campingstuga med stenhårda sängar och flera slitage-fel. Barnen älskade det dock, för det fanns ett loft där de kunde bo och som sagt poolområde, pizzeria och lekpark. Synd bara att standarden på campingstugan inte kan vara bättre och att priset kan vara ett totalpris där ex dusch och handdukar mm ingår. Personalen var helt underbar och tillmötesgående när jag framförde vad som saknades. Vi hade kunnat komma tillbaka om marknadsföringen hade varit ärligare och sängarna inte gav ryggproblem. Hoppas ni löser detta.

Trevligt ställe, en notering

Allt var fint. Enda att notera var att det står att stugorna är 16 kvm. Det vi inte räknade med var att det var att sovloftet var inkluderat i den ytan. Bottenplan var runt 10 kvm. Rekommenderar att ta med en fläkt eller nåt då stugorna blir extremt varma när det är varmt ute.

Bodde i stuga med två små barn

Bodde i stuga med två små barn. Ett minus för oss att stugan saknade toalett samt rinnande vatten, den hade ej heller ugn, micro eller brödrost i pentryt. Läget var bra, en kortare bilfärd till Astrid Lindgrens värld. Campingområdet hade en liten barnpool på området.

Fantastisk för familjen

Perfekt för familjen. Utmärkt restaurang med frukostbuffé. Toppen med lekplats å utomhusbad. Bra servicehus för camping med det som man behöver:) rekommenderar starkt! Nära till Astrid Lindgrens värld 2.5km :)

Mycket pengar för ingenting.

Inte helt tydlig info. Vi var i tron att det fanns toalett o badrum men icke, inget rinnande vatten. Mycket litet och trångt. Man lockar med en badbild men att bada skulle kosta 50kr/person. Svinkallt dessutom.

Bra läge, mysig omgivning. Men stugorna var smutsiga - i vår stuga var det fullt med spindelnät och damm. Fick städa innan man kunde använda stugan. Väldigt kallt på nätterna, ingen isolering i stugorna.

Varit här tidigare så vet vad stugan innebär. Gå in och backa ut. Hade varit bra med fler hyllor, krokar och eluttag. Fräscht servicehus med wc/dusch, kök, micro, spis/ugn. På området finns möjlighet att grilla. Fin lekplats för barn och stor uteservering vid hotellet. Stugan hade kunnat vara någon kvadratmeter större :)
