I ordered online, it shows all rooms have kitchen, but the one I lived didn’t. There wasn’t even a sofa in the room! The guy who checked us in wasn’t very friendly, I mean cold. Maybe he was not happy that day. As a over two hundred dollar room (including tax), I feel a little bit disappointed! Only thing good is it’s very convenient to get to the beach.

I am very disappointed with my stay and feel misled by the rating shown on Expedia. This property is listed with a score of 8.8/10 based on thousands of reviews, but in my experience, this does not reflect reality at all. The facility is extremely outdated and in urgent need of renovation. While I understand that the building itself may be old, that is not an excuse for the current condition. Travelers rely on these ratings to make decisions, and this one is clearly inaccurate. Cleanliness was also a major issue. There was dust throughout the room, which shows a lack of proper maintenance. The bed linens were old, worn out, and covered in pilling, making them uncomfortable to use. The towels were also very old and clearly have not been replaced or updated in a long time. My stay was only for a couple of days and not intended as a vacation, but even for a short stay, the condition of the property was unacceptable. I feel like I was misled into booking this place based on an unreliable rating. I strongly ask you to review this feedback seriously and reassess the rating of this property so that other travelers do not make the same mistake I did.

Literally the ONLY reason you stay here is because of the amazing heartshaped jacuzzi bathtub in each room facing the ocean. That’s it. The building itself is run down and has seen better days…

Bounced around multiple rooms because of AC problems and dead doors. Finally we get into a room minutes before having to leave for a funeral and the safe was broken and the hot tub/jacuzzi was filthy. Then we get back to the motel for rest later that night and the AC unit sounded like two transformers were trying to recreate their favorite fight scene. They did provide us a 15% refund; which in my opinion doesn't make up for have a hot tub that we couldn’t use without fear of infection and having to carry everything with us because we didn’t have a safe to use.

The staff here is excellent. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and whenever I visit Virginia Beach, this is one of my favorite places to stay for four reasons: the in-room hot tubs, the beautiful sunrise views, the sunsets, and watching the dolphins and surfers. The location is also wonderful — it’s just off the main strip, so it’s much quieter and feels very safe. From check-in to check-out, the front desk staff and housekeeping team have always been kind and welcoming. The only area that could use improvement is the cleanliness. It often feels like things are wiped down quickly rather than thoroughly. You may notice a few stray hairs, floors that are still wet with a strong chemical smell, or a bit of film or grime left behind. With a little more attention to the cleaning details, this place could easily be a truly beautiful and exceptional stay.
