“From every direction the views were just lovely. We stayed in the first week of Nov before the rains. So we had super weather (and a super-moon). Walked the Plicvice National park in the afternoon before our check in. So happy to have a pretty, clean, comfortable, warm, and nicely appointed place for the night. Check in was simple. Hostess made some beautiful individual coffee cakes that were hot and deliciously aromatic, but because our entire family is gluten intolerant, we couldn’t……

“Villa Stone was amazing. Our host Mata was very accommodating and very personable. We let him know we were interested in dinner at the location and we set a time. Villa Stone has a lovely outdoor area where our host started his wood fire grill and we had the most amazing food , wine and conversation. Very relaxing. We enjoyed the double room with balcony. “Loved this place! Stayed 2 nights with my wife and had dinner there both nights as menu has many interesting choices. Zaron and his wife are both exellent cooks with gourmet flair. Got a jucuzzi suite which helped with the sore legs after hiking in Plitvice. If you want home cooking and a quiet place to relax this is it.”

“Great location for Plitvice. Quiet and clean. Safe area. A couple restaurant options within walking distance. Beds were comfortable. Difficult that there was no WhatsApp to communicate ahead of time. Also I specifically booked a two bedroom suite and the landlady only let us have one of the bedrooms (claiming that you needed five people to get the second bedroom).
