「Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. 」

The property is the perfect size a for a couple. The kitchen has everything you need. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else on the Hilo side of the island.」

「A unique getaway with options if you want them. We opted to eat and talk past dark at the table on the 2nd story deck outside the room. We heard some night birds and a nice steady rain as we slept. Our hosts communicated in great detail. Make sure you read their text before you get there for the best stay. 」

「I loved staying at Maggie’s studio in Hilo. It was really clean and spacious. There were plenty of parking and I like the usage of having a kitchen and the convenience of a washer and dryer. I would come back and stay here again the next time I’m back at the big island. 」
