“Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Vermieter wohnt gleich im Nebenhaus, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Bei Problemen ist er sofort da um die Probleme zu lösen. Das Haus selber ist klein aber fein. Zum Haus geht ein Fussweg, welcher im Winter Schneebedekt und vereist war. Wir konnten nicht direkt bis an das Haus heran fahren. Die Lage selber ist sicherlich im Sommer sehr schön, im Winter wenig Schnee. Brennholz für den Ofen haben wir beim Vermieter geordert. Wir mussten nur anrufen und……

“I came to Ulvik/Villavik to see where my ancestors once lived and to walk where they once walked. The Handanger Fjord and all areas surrounding are amazing! Vallevik Fjordhytter, our cabin on the mountain was charming and peaceful and everything one could want! Paul was there for us if we ever needed anything or had any questions, very kind! I would love to return some day and if I do I hope to stay here again.”

“Die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter klappte reibungslos. Wir waren zu zweit. Das Haus ist für vier Personen angegeben. Das stimmt exakt. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal für eine Vielzahl von Unternehmungen: Wanderung zum Vøringsfossen, von Norheimsund mit dem Schiff im Hardangerfjord oder mit der 'Voss Gondol' in die Höhe - für alle ist etwas dabei.”

“Ansich ein sehr schönes, gemütliches Häuschen. Leider war es bei unserer Ankunft nicht besonders sauber und es war sehr kalt. Der Vermieter wohnt neben an und war sehr bemüht. Aber man musste jeder morgen der Kamin anfeuer da es weniger als 8 Grad waren. Es ist schnell abgekühlt und nur langsam wieder warm geworden. Es gibt 2 Elektroheizkörper, die aber unendlich langebrauchen um lau warmzuwerden. Fazit: perfekt für den Sonnerurlaub, wenn man viel unterwegs ist.”

We were lucky enough that even though it was late when we got there, a gentleman in the house near where the gps took us was able to somewhat lead us in the right direction. We attempted to call the owners multiple times but no one ever answered and never returned our calls at any point during the stay.
