Our overall experience was disappointing due to misleading information about the thermal pools. We booked the hotel believing the thermal facilities were on-site, which was a key reason for our choice after a 10-hour drive. Only after booking did we receive an email stating that the pools were actually 1.3 kilometers away. By that point—just one night before our arrival—it was too late to change our plans.
We then had an exhausting call with hotel management, who initially refused to accommodate us unless we paid an additional €120 to stay at the property next to the pools. We felt misled and unfairly treated. After involving Expedia and having a joint call with both parties, the hotel finally agreed to move us to Fruške Residence at no extra cost.
While we appreciated the eventual resolution, this situation could have been entirely avoided if the listing on Expedia had provided an accurate description. The misleading presentation made the hotel appear more luxurious than it actually is, which significantly affected our experience.
