“The property was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy as the code was sent to us days before entering. Beds were good and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and appliances pretty new. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Our stay was enjoyable.”

“This house was everything we needed for our trip to Topeka! A group of us traveled from IL to Topeka to see a friend from high school and her family. Kings Cottage was only 5 mins away from her house and was so convenient for the weekend! The game room in the basement and the man cave in the garage were added features that the kids loved! “This location is quiet and a great place to stay. This is our 2nd time staying here and this is the first place I look for to see if available when coming to Topeka Ks. Love the screened in porch while drinking my morning coffee. ”

“Nestled in trees, quiet, peaceful area. Loved the hammocks under the trees! The lake can be seen through the trees, but no close access to the water. Kitchen had everything needed. Plenty of clean towels & paper goods. Bedding was clean and comfy. Enjoyed all the windows and the view. It was enjoyable to on the deck. Great weekend stay with girlfriends! ”

“Everything was great! We loved the place and the proximity of closeness to the lake. Very clean. My only thing is is that itDoes seem to take some time to get back with ya on questions we had. But really no big deal. We didn’t have anything urgent come up. Would definitely love to come back. ”

“The stay was great! The Konza Prairie Hike was beautiful! Love Mankato! Plenty of good restaurants close by. The home was nice, just as advertised. I would say that the only negative was that I wrote a nice “Thank You” note for the owners, which never garnered even the slightest acknowledgment. We listed a couple of small items that needed repair (certainly did not detract from the stay) - no reply. Other than that, a terrific stay! I’d rate the overall experience 4/5.”

“Brandie is an awesome host. She sent the super easy check in and access process via email ahead of our stay. Having the address, door code and parking information made for a smooth arrival for all of us coming from different locations. The house has large bedrooms so everyone could spread out in their own space and come together in the living room to share meals and laughs. We were visiting family on opposite sides of Topeka so the central location of this home made for quick access to get……
