This hotel was right on the beach and had a beautiful swimming pool with lots of shade and trees. The staff were very friendly and obliging.

We were not properly welcomed and it took almost an hour to check in. Room smelled bad. Had to ask for towels. Nasty beach. Worn out furniture. Not comfortable bed. Food bad quality.

The rooms are very nice with the perfect view of the pool and ocean. There is unfortunately no swimming allowed in the ocean in front of the hotel. We found the staff a little unorganized at times but would still highly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out the staff made this a wonderful place to stay. Not once did we feel we were being taken advantage of. We were impressed with all the facilities and the lovely ambience and decor of the hotel. The pool and gardens were beautifully maintained and all the added benefits such as the gym, spa and Comfortable sun loungers scattered around the palm fringed gardens were really appreciated. We were not full board but dined in the FB restaurant and we’re really surprised that the quality of the food offered. The à la cart menu was also extensive and tasty and not expensive. There was also plenty of choice at breakfast time. I would highly recommend this please to anybody looking for a good comfortable hotel at an affordable price.

After a long flight, we managed to check in , even if was like after 2 hours waiting for a room, no welcome drink.... we did message the hotel to inform them that we arrive early in the morning but no response. Other than that no faulty. The place is very clean, they provide water, fridge, toiletries, everything you need. They even done the bed for us in the evening. The staff is so attentive and polite. They are very happy and chatty. The swimming pool is cleaned every night . The really enjoyed our stay! Andreea and George from Romania ! Greetings

Хороший отдых

Отдыхали с мужем и с друзьями(большой компанией). Было весело. В отеле почти каждый вечер проводили небольшие развлекательные мероприятия. Живая музыка, танцы, файер шоу. Прикольно. Завтраки обычные, не разнообразные, но нормально. Бассейн чистый, территория ухоженная, бегают маленькие барсучки, Лежаков достаточно, каждое утро раскладывали матрасы и свежие полотенца. Отель нам понравился. Океан конечно бушевал, но купались.В Шри Ланке мы были первый раз. Хорошая страна и добрые люди.

Durchschnittshotel mit freundlichem Personal

Vielleicht dadurch bedingt, dass dem Sonntag der Unabhänigkeitstag (Feiertag) folgte, war der Check-in etwas sehr holprig und dauerte ewig. Die Zimmer sind hell, sauber und geräumig. Das große Bad bietet ebenfalls ausreichend Platz für eine Vielzahl von Utensilien. Der Wasserdruck ist für die Verhältnisse auf Sri Lanka überdurchschnittlich. Das gastronomische Umfeld ist deutlich schlechter als in Hukkaduwa und leider wird dem Defizit im Hotel nicht ausreichend Rechnung getragen (vgl. Bewertung der Gastronomie im Hotel). Positiv zu bewerten ist, dass die Liegen im Garten erst vollständig mit einer Art Leintuch überzogen werden, bevor das Handtuch drauf gelegt wird. Dieser hygienische Vorteil geht natürlich zu Lasten der Umwelt. Das Personal ist wie nahezu überall auf der Insel sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Den Laden gegenüber der Einfahrt sollte man unbedingt meiden, da er vergleichsweise unverschämt hohe Preise (teilweise dreimal teurer) hat. Das Umfeld mit Cafes, Läden und Restaurants erscheint in Hukkaduwa einladender.  Fazit: Durchschnittshotel und es gibt sicherlich bessere und interessantere Orte zum Verweilen

Great service

Very helpful friendly and kind personell. View is spectacular and the Hotel area is nice but somewhat worn. Minor errors like cold showers for a few hours etc. But the impression is a very caring hotel. Food is pretty nice as well. Not much more expensive than the beach restaurants. Didn´t fancy the Loud AC.

2月10日、11日と2泊させていただきましたが、明るい雰囲気とビーチから眺められる美しいサンセット、そしてフレンドリーなスタッフがたくさんいるホテル。ヨーロッパ冬の寒さを避けて日光浴のために長期滞在されている年輩の方が多く見られ、滞在中は日本人は私たちだけ。ゆったり過ごせました。特にスポーツセンターは、ほぼ貸し切り状態で、スタッフが卓球をやってくれたり、私たちのために特別にサンセットヨガも開催してくれました。国際色豊かなプールでのアクアビクスも楽しかったです。アーユルベーダトリートメントも受けましたが、雰囲気も良く、最高でした。食事も、毎回変わり、料金の割には美味しく、種類も多く、雰囲気の良いレストラン。コスパ最高のホテルです。

A bit worn down. No restuarants or shopping near by. Had to go about 1 km to find other possibilities for eating. It is an all inclusive hotel, meaning it is quite expensive to live there if you have only bought the room.

After we got an upgrade room due to some problems with our original room. our stay was 100% better and made it all most value for money our new room cleaner was excellent over all good stay due to our uograde

Good choice for Kalutara region in SL

Good choice for this part of Sri Lanka coast. It is not amy of these show off glittering hotels. Simple and modest but comfy typical Sri Lankan hotel of reasonable size and good location. Excellent and hard working stuff. Tips: if booked be sure to book deluxe area rooms. They are better located, more spacious and better equipped. Some say the hotel is a lil' shabby and old but this is something that I like and this makes show off tourist are not there to be met :-)

It has extremely friendly staff and they try harder to accommodate visitors in their level best. Food and beverage manager and his staff were very kind and my 3 year old son was fed with some custom food. They have snack room in between core meals by making sure visitors never get hungry. They had a good food buffet. Pool , sport room, wellness programs were very accommodating. Evening live music was every entertaining. I would recommend as improvements to improve the property with more nice interior decos, free from flies, insects, mosquito as much as possible in the outside and grow some water lilies in their surrounding ponds.

Prima hotel prijs kwaliteit is goed.

Het is een prima hotel als je niet al te veel wilt betalen. Personeel is heel vriendelijk. Vind het buffet wat gewoontjes maar is goed.
