This motel met our needs. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is limited, but I appreciated the fresh milk and hot water for tea.

The best thing about Lakeside is the location. It's next to Chapman Park/Lake Wagner. This is great for morning or evening walks. The worst thing about this property is the very iffy housekeeping service. If you are staying for more than one night, beware! You may or may not get any housekeeping service and you will need it daily as they only give you the bare minimum on towels and other items.

New owners are trying hard with limited resources to repair and freshen the property. We've noticed much improvement since our 1st stay a year ago. It's a good, basic accommodation WITHIN Wagner.

Basic accommodations. Owner (abt. 2 yrs) is slowly improving property. Very clean. Limited breakfast items - mainly cereal & toast, milk & juice. If staying for multiple nights, do not expect them to make up the beds.

The staff are great; friendly and easy to work with. The check out was an hour earlier which is okay, just different for us. The toilet seat lid wasn’t attached to the toilet and I nearly slid off when I sat down while bathing my granddaughter when we first got there. Also there were only 2 very thin towels for four of us, but we did bring our own so that was alright too. Could be better maintained but I honestly think they are working on it and the over all experience was nice. I will definitely be staying there on my travels that way again.

We'll return and stay here again!

We had a nice stay here, bed was comfortable, water in the shower and sink was nice and hot and the a/c in our room worked fantastic! Breakfast options are a continental breakfast and we were just fine with a fresh made waffle and a good cup of coffee. We will stay here again!! Staff are friendly, welcoming and as helpful as can be!!!!

Most all was clean, but someone had left a partially eaten sub in the fridge & there was lettuce, etc. left on the desk/table, so then that makes you question the cleanliness of the whole room. Otherwise, just grateful for a place to stay in Wagner.

Three day stay.

Every thing was fine. The only thing I would have applied was the vending machines did not work. It rained most of trip so I was a little more confined to the motel. It would have been nice to get something to snack on there rather than going out in the rain to. The staff was very nice and the place was clean and quiet. The breakfast was okay though the cereal was stale and some of the bread moldy. They could up grade a little.
