Amazing sunsets and location

The property was near the pool and perfect for watching sunsets from the back porch. We have stayed at this property before and love enjoying time at the pool, the outside exercise room, and great whale watching.

Hali'i Kai 12E Stay July 2021

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The unit was beautiful, and the location was great (right next to the clubhouse). The only thing that didn't work was the BBQ, but that didn't hinder our trip or experience.

Amazing property

There are not enough great things to say about this property. My wife and I along with our 4 kids stayed here and loved everything about the place. The location was amazing. Amenities of the property were amazing. The included extras were perfect for our family. Would recommend to anyone looking to spend some time on the big island.

Didn't want to leave!

Perfect place for a family gathering of all ages. We all loved the condo and the Ocean Club. Only 20min from the best snorkeling/swimming beach! Victoria was very helpful before, during and after the trip. Thank you!

Enjoyed the View of the Ocean

My family had a great week staying at this condo at Hali'i Kai. We enjoyed the view from the lanai and the table and chairs were perfect for the five of us. Also loved how close this condominium is to the resort pool and spa. The three bedrooms were enough for the five in our family, and the condo seemed spacious for everyone. Good communication with the property management company also.

Summer get away

We rented two condos in Hali’i Kai. This is our second time staying in this complex. We love the location, the views and the pool and restaurant. Not as hustle and bustle as your typical hotel stay. Victoria was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, providing recommendations and even dropping off a new coffee maker when the current one gave up. Can’t wait to get back to the island!

Comfortable and clean

9 day stay with 5 people. Very nice accommodations. Great location for accessing beaches and resorts. Everything was in good working order and beds were comfortable. Nice morning sunrises watching whales from lanai. Couple downsides were hearing upstairs neighbor, every footstep and chair. Restaurant at clubhouse was not very good and pool is nice and great for kids, 3ft deep, but they highly discourage kids from playing like kids. All in all it was a very positive place to stay and we'd stay again.

Great location!

We loved the location! It was close proximity to the pool for our grandchildren. The view of the ocean was gorgeous. It was a delight to watch the sunset every evening. It was very convenient to be on the first floor, as well. There were a few disappointments. First of all, only half of the grill was functioning. This made it a challenge, since we planned on grilling several meals. My husband had to go to the pool area to grill. The furniture, towels and kitchen supplies all felt weathered, over used and dingy. On the day we were to depart, the exterior lock code to the front door stopped working before our check out time of 10am. (We departed for airport at 9:30am. We almost got locked out when packing up the rental car.) With all that being said, the view and location made it worth it. So, overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location

So nice to rent someplace and have it actually look exactly like the pictures. This is a very comfortable and well appointed condo. We did have only one little issue which kept coming and going so it never seemed necessary to have someone come look but the hot water in the master shower had a mind of its own. The property manager was very responsive and I know would have had it taken care of early on but it was so sketchy that typically I was the only one who never got the hot water. It would be coming out of the sink in the master but never out of the shower for me. The clubhouse and pool with the restaurant right there is such a great convenience to have in a condominium setting. And everyone at the pool and restaurant was very nice. Only suggestion for that area would be that they get some umbrellas to provide shade in the pool area. A suggestion would also be to get a fan on the patio of the condominium unit. Definitely hope to stay there again.

Perfect location & living space for our family

Six family members (teens through seniors) stayed here 6 nights and found it to be very comfortable & spacious. The kitchen was well equipped; the lanai provided a wonderful space for morning coffee; the club house restaurant was surprisingly good; our teens enjoyed spending time at the pool reading; and morning walks along the coast were beautiful. If we could change one thing, it would be nice to have a beach within walking distance but that is minor. This was a wonderful place to stay!

Great condo, beautiful sunsets

This is a great place in a very central location, close to Hapuna and Waimea, 30 minutes away from Kona. Very quiet and great to relax. It has everything you need to rest. Great kitchen, the outdoor grill could be better, great bedrooms and one minute away from a trail that borders the ocean. We had many adventures, swimming with dolphins, turtles, snorkeling, visiting volcanos, ziplining, sunset in Mauna Kea, days at the beach, a lot of memories to share with the kids for a lifetime.

Awesome place and even better location!

Stayed here with my family of 5 and loved staying on the property. It was just steps away from the ocean and the pool. The pool is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and had great food too! There is a rocky hiking trail right along the coast that is a little more than a mile hike to a beach. Sitting on the lanai each morning was perfect. Loved the fact that this was a ground floor unit. The house is exactly as described and Victoria was great to work with.

Perfect location

Kona coffee on the patio watching the whales every morning... Best vacation! This unit is quiet and peaceful and a short walk to the pool and delicious on site restaurant and bar. The pool has a lot of rules, no ball throwing or play, which was annoying for teens and tweens. We bought day passes at the resorts near by. This location is an easy drive to all the resorts and Hapuna beach. Going to miss the warm breeze...

Beautiful Sunsets and great location

We loved this location of the condos in Waikoloa and also 12-E in proximity to the pool and clubhouse and Hilton property. We spent one day at the Hilton pools - bought pool passes and others at the local beaches. Spent afternoons and mornings at the condo pool or walking down to the queens shops for breakfast and coffee. Great restaurant on site though - good food and service. The condo was well kept and true to the pictures. Victoria was very responsive and helpful for our trip.
