「The check in time was 4 PM and there was no instructions ( door code, key etc) messaged the host around 5 PM as we still had not received any check in information. The host was MIA, unreachable via VRBO message for over two hrs until I had to call the VRBO support line and had to be on hold for over 40 minutes to get the host to provide with keys for checking in. Also no apologies for delays or not giving any proper instructions. Very unreliable.」

「We absolutely loved our stay here! It’s the perfect location, lots to do on the resort and in Kapa’a! Also just 30 minutes from popular Hanalei Bay and Poipu Beach! Tons of beautiful hikes just 15 minutes away! The host was super helpful and amazing with everything. The condo had everything we needed and more, was super spacious! Will absolutely be staying again!」

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
