We're glad you had a great time on Maui, as you mentioned when we checked in with you mid-stay. We were surprised at the tone of your review, given our interaction during your stay. We were extremely responsive to your questions about the draining sink, and when our maintenance person arrived, it appeared to be draining perfectly -- as you acknowledged in your review. We certainly were not aware of any strange noises -- we have not experienced that previously, but would like to have heard about it at the time so we might have resolved it. The switch to the "garburetor" (garbage disposal) is on the wall by the light switch in the kitchen -- again, we would love to have heard about that so we could have guided you. Please allow me to clarify your question about the rates: as you know, you called us mid-stay to ask why another unit online (not available, previously booked) was $20 more per night, and if we would discount ours during your stay. In addition to the other unit not being available, our unit is on the top floor, directly ocean front: the other unit was not. And March is indeed high season on Maui. I certainly hope that our declining to discount your unit after you had stayed there several days had nothing to do with your review -- we are extremely proactive to guest issues and would like to have known about your issues so we could have addressed them.
