Excellent location for visiting the caves. Cabins are well maintained as are the other facilities. Walkable to general store and up to the cave visitor centre. The gentleman on reception was exceptionally welcoming and helpful.

Good location to visit the glowworm caves. Nice log cabin style accommodation. Clean but sign's of being tired. Basic provisions although you could use the communal kitchen. Ate at the lical pun Tomo eatery which was excellent.

We went to the cave and this was close place. Rooms were nice. We arrived late and had to go to town for food that was about 12 min away. While we were there we found this great handmade baggage store.. Awesome work and nice guy. Don't remember the name but it was next to the only gas station.

So close to the caves!

Fabulous location for visiting the caves. Good clean and spacious room. It would have been nice to have more than one chair in a room with 5 beds but fortunately there were plenty of beds to sit on. Great views!

Fantastic chalet-style accommodation located perfectly in Waitomo Village. A stones throw to the pub for dinner and a stroll to lovely walks and the visitor centre. Lovely staff and clean, functional rooms. One of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept on!

Clean and comfy

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect for visiting the caves and eating a great meal after! The kitchen was perfect for us to make a quick breakfast before leaving for our next adventure! The only issue was the heater made banging noises all night.
