  • If you want to get back to nature, this is the ideal getaway. With lots of: * farm animals to enjoy * nature walks and * plenty of wildlife and beautiful birds * peacocks, sheep, goats, miniature horses, chooks and geese and help collect eggs. * fishing by charter (conditions apply) *20 minutes walk from the beach. 5 min drive to local shopping centre, many cafe's & restaurant's to enjoy. Even though there is a TV, this is an opportunity to get away from the busy life and a rest from technology!

Lovely quiet natural experience

A pleasant enough home to stay in for a get away from the city. Had all the creature comforts needed. It’s no 4/5 star hotel, it’s a country farm house set back from the main road behind native scrub. Loved the native lilies and the solitude.

good location, private,

Plenty of room,enjoyed having linen & towels provided. nice people. Unfortunately some more attention to detail eg. dusting, removal of spider webs (they were every where), could have done a better job with the vacuuming, bins outside needed emptying, wiping out kitchen cupboards. We were not told that the Water was not fit to drink (bore water). TV had bad reception, we had none but some DVD's were supplied. Some games were also supplied.

Needed some TLC and a wipe over

Stayed here for 3 nights. Nice spot, close to Victor and Encounter Bay Area. I found myself getting more annoyed as time went on with how many things we had to wash or clean before being used. All the dishes, cups, cutlery, bath, outdoor area. Dead brown snake on the porch out the kitchen window, bird in our bedroom from a window left open before we got there, advised not to drink the water from the tap, but was left a half empty box of water that we had to refill before we left. Hard to find initially with no signs -had to guess which house it was. Has lots of potential, but will be choosing somewhere else next time.

Great holiday house!

Great holiday house away from busy neighborhood. Peaceful and queit farm stay! Spacious, comfortable and cosy enough for 11 people. Great terrace and views... Was quite dusty though but you cant expect everything I guess...

Huge Comfortable Country Homestead

Stayed at this lovely old homestead property located just 10 mins from Victor Harbor. Big rooms, plenty of space and large comfy beds. Great for those wanting to self cater or larger family groups. Set well back off the main road, the homestead is nestled amongst paddocks where you can see sheep, lambs and mini horses grazing from your windows during the day and see the vastness of the milky way overhead at night - just brilliant. Great to wake up to bird calls in the morning as opposed to an alarm clock! All the creature comforts of home in a peaceful, relaxed, farm stay setting - who could ask for more!! Would definitely recommend to others and can't wait to go back again.

Great place to stay, Location for us was excellent, Quiet, Farm animals

Six people stayed here and we all said it was a great location once we found it. ( So maybe some small sign for people to find a bit easier would be helpful ) As a negative we would say that the outside area where table is should have been cleaned so as we could use this beautiful porch area and also bit more detail towards inside cleaning of com webs dust. Now the positives WHAT a great place plenty of room to move. Bedrooms great, bathrooms great, Lounge area great. The whole house just a great place to stay. WOULD I STAY AGAIN YOU BET WE WOULD. WILL WE RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO STAY ALREADY HAVE TOLD MANY . Great place we will be back. Thanks again
