Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem schönen gelegenen Hotel in der Nähe vom Schloss direkt in Waldeck. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war, dass beim Frühstück für Cappuccino etc. ein Aufpreis verlangt wurde. Des Weiteren erwartet man eigentlich in dieser Klasse zu mindestens eine kostenlose Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer.

Das Geländer im Schwimmbad müsste gestrichen werden. Die Duschhalterung Zimmer 73 ist defekt. Es war aber sehr schön und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Vielen Dank.

Schönes Hotel und Top Essen. Leider sind die Zimmer 80 er Jahre Style und das Bad ist auch nicht so toll. Duschen wäre besser als Badewannen. Dennoch gutes Hotel kann man empfehlen

Komfortables und ruhiges Hotel mitten in Waldeck

Ein sehr gepflegtes Haus mit guten Betten, vielfältigem Frühstück und schmackhaftem Dinner. Der Wellness-Bereich mit Schwimmbad und 2 Saunen ist gemütlich und lädt zur Entspannung nach anstrengenden Wanderungen ein. Ideal gelegen für Wanderungen auf dem Urwaldsteig und dem Edersee-Wanderweg.

Das Hotel hatte weder einen Aufzug noch eine Klimaanlage. Bei 33 Grad Hitze konnte uns die Hotelrezeptionnoch nicht einmal einen Ventilator zur Verfügung stellen ! Das Preisleitungsverhältnis ist für uns nicht in Ordnung.

Wir hatten das Pech, bei Temperaturen von täglich über 30 Grad, in diesem Hotel keine klimatisierte Zone zu finden. Es ist landschaftlich sehr schön gelegen und sicher kann man sehr viel unternehmen ---- allein uns und unseren Hund hat die Hitze ausgebremst.

Schöner Kurzurlaub mit Familie

Wir hatten das verlängerte Wochenende in Waldeck sehr genossen. Neben den vielen Aktivitäten am Tag war unser Hotel ein schöner Ankerpunkt für Start und Ziel unserer Vorhaben. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Die Kinder (10, 15) fühlten sich pudelwohl.

Great value, service, spa!

We got spectacular winter weather, so the view and balcony were quite wonderful. Reception was particularly welcoming and helpful with our special requests and even managed to sort out a spa treatment at the last minute. I had the small but well-appointed spa/sauna area all to myself, fun and relaxing. Oddly, the room amenities were spare: one liquid soap/shampoo combo product was it, had to rent(!) a spa robe. But the low-season price, included breakfast, spa with treatments, and gorgeous area made this stay an outstanding value.
