Rental very clean and homey. Quite location. Near marina, beach and several restaurants. Plenty of towels and linens. Comfy bed. Kitchen fully stocked. Nice living and dining area. Perfect for our stay. Would book again if in the area. Owner a breeze to work with. You would be very pleased and happy here!!!

this was a cute place, the people who own it was very nice and accommodating. I didn't realize that it had stairs though, but I probably should have, and it was a little hard on us old folks. all in all it was a pleasant stay.

Great Location

Great Location for downtown Waldport with walking distance in town and shopping. Owner was wonderful with updates prior to arrival and very accessible. The unit was very well stocked with everything you could need for your stay! This is our third trip to Waldport and we will be back with our two pups!

Quiet and safe.

This was my first experience with VRBO - I liked it and I would return. It was perfect for my spouse and I and 2 dogs. The kitchen was well stocked, and in a safe area. The stairs are very steep - not an issue but depending on who is staying could pose a challenge. I did have an odd experience with an elderly woman when I was putting out my trash before leaving - she asked " if I was the new runner" and let me know she had watered the plants - not sure what happened. I thought the size of the rental was perfect. There is a grocery store close by and a larger town not too far if you need more groceries or supplies. I would definitely stay again when going to a family get together in the area.

Wonderful

Great value for the price! It was a nice, peaceful place. I loved all the windows that let the light poor in. Really nice double shower head. Close to the bay. I could hear the waves crashing when I let the dogs out into the fenced yard. There are stairs up to the unit but they were not a problem for us even though I have bad knees. The owner was great about responding quickly with any questions I had. We will definitely be booking again.

Sea lover from a landlocked state

The property was perfect for a couple ( in this case me and my dog). It was located in a small neighborhood by the boat launch. It was walking distance to the store, shopping and local restaurants. It had a very ice serviceable kitchen for home-cooked meals and the bed was very comfortable. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you get checked in and have everything you need. I appreciated the Netflix access on the bad weather days when we couldn't go to the beach. Very nice stay.

Great place to rent. Good location close to the ocean and so many beaches

Great little spot

Super easy to get to. A nice jumping-off point to still go into Newport or Yachats. Perfect spot for crabbing just a block away. We really enjoyed our stay and loved that we could bring our dog with us! Everything was great inside, they had everything we needed, truly a nice property in a quiet town.

Great Spot!

My sister and I came to town for a small family gathering and really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was fantastic, especially for such a small place and allowed us to do our own cooking for the gathering. We were able to walk anywhere in town due to the great location. We will definitely book again!

Not what I expected

Decided on this property based on pictures. The few provided did not accurately portray the rental. Storm door did not latch, all floors were basic linoleum giving the unit a cold feel. I was surprised at how small the unit was. Refrigerator was in a room adjacent to small kitchen island and microwave was ancient. Very poor value for the money spent.

Great Get Away

We loved this place. It is in a quiet neighborhood, with friendly neighbors, and there are a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance. The place was very clean, and the owner is great. There was a yard sale 2 blocks away and we bought a bike for our son. When the owner found out we had done that, he let us borrow bikes so that we could go riding with him. He also pointed out the skate board park, which was a huge hit with our son. Overall, it was a nice, friendly, and quiet break from reality. We will stay there again the next time we get to spend time at the beach.

Extremely Clean, Very Relaxing

The owner was extremely helpful offering food, entertainment, and travel recommendations. He very generously contacted the morning of check-in to let us know the unit was already ready. We would definitely recommend.

Our Favorite Place in Waldport

We've been coming to Waldport for crabbing for years now. And we really enjoyed our first time stay at Alsea Bay Townhome last weekend! The place was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There was plenty of space to relax for 4 adults, and a dog, inside the house. Since the dock was only a couple minutes walk from the house, we went crabbing from the dock during the day and at night during high tide. Very convenient! The neighborhood was very nice as well! The owner of the house was very helpful, and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay here again!!

Spotlessly clean upstairs unit in a very quiet neighborhood.

We loved our stay in Waldport, just minutes away from some of the most amazing parts of the Oregon coast. Owner Randy was very friendly and helpful when we arrived in the rain! The townhouse had everything we needed for our short stay and, luckily enough,, the weather cleared again so we were able to enjoy the beaches with our son and daughter who were both camping with their families a few miles down the road. This is a lovely area and we would love to come back for another visit soon.

Must have missed the fact that it was all tile throughout. Wasn’t a fan of that, but otherwise was a nice place. Kitchen had everything we needed.

The only place you should stay!

We’ve been coming to Waldport for years. This by far has been the best place we’ve stayed. I’d love to give it zero stars....only so no one else knows our secret. But , that’s not fair! 😉 Home is 1.5 blocks from the docks...which is a plus...especially since we crab down there every opportunity we have. Same distance to the best spot to hang on the sandy bay. Couple blocks from the grocery store. Multiple restaurants within the same short distance. Home was clean, beds comfy, nicely equipped kitchen. Light and bright! West facing windows in the living/kitchen space. If you are a cold feet person...bring slippers. Stairs are definitely not for those that have a tough time climbing. The baby gate at the top was nice since we have young kids. Dog yard in the back was a great. Love that it was fenced! Hosts were responsive and attentive. Overall...this will now be our go to spot in Waldport.
