“My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and concerning. When I arrived to check in, the front desk employee was not wearing any shoes, which immediately raised red flags about professionalism and cleanliness. To make matters worse, I saw a live roach crawling across the desk among paperwork during check-in. Hoping things would improve, I went to the room—but it was even worse. The bed comforter was visibly dirty, and the desk was sticky and unclean. I then saw another live roach……

“My family adored our stay on this lovely, serene property. We spent a lot of time at the creek. My kids loved being able to pet the goats and see the chickens. It was very peaceful and restful. We made a fire in the fire pit each night and told stories. It was easy to cook on the little cook stove. Everything was clean and we had all we needed. Very thoughtfully set up cabin. The hostess is always available if needed. We loved it. ”

The studio is super cute (newly being renovated), very clean and amazing location! The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Perfect for a weekend visiting SHSU!! We would stay here again!”
