The generous open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area forms the heart of the home, with the main living area and master bedroom both enjoying a sunny northern aspect - on a classic bluebird day, the light simply pours in. Both spaces open directly onto the private, sheltered deck.
Gather around the eight-seater dining table before unwinding on one of three plush sofas surrounding the wood-burning fire - perfect for cooler evenings.
Large windows frame stunning views of Mount Roy in every season, while the generous sliding doors open onto the deck where you can enjoy a morning coffee or wind down with something picked up from one of Wanaka`s breweries or wineries.
The deck is fully fenced (ideal for little ones) with mature shrubs providing shelter and privacy.
Layout
The home is split-level. Downstairs, you`ll find two bedrooms, including the master suite with its super-sized walk-in wardrobe leading through to a private ensuite.
The master also opens onto the deck and captures the northern sun beautifully. Also on this level is a full separate laundry, plus a separate toilet for guests.
Downstairs rooms are heated by wall panel heaters.
Upstairs, two further bedrooms lead off a landing and share the family bathroom, which features a deep bathtub - just the thing after a day on the slopes or trails.
A separate toilet is also located on this level. Both upstairs bedrooms have heat pumps, keeping them cool in summer and warm in winter.
All bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds, bedside cabinets, and wardrobes.

Location
A 300m stroll brings you to the water`s edge and the lakeside walking and cycling trail into town, where you`ll find restaurants, cafes, boutique shops, a cinema, and a supermarket. Head in the other direction to explore Waterfall Creek - with a stop at the famous Wanaka Tree along the way. Two ski fields are both an easy 45-minute drive from the door.
The Special Touch
While fully self-contained, Lakeview Properties likes to make sure you start your holiday without having to rush to the shops. We provide a starter supply of essentials including toilet paper, washing powder, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, shampoo, body wash, and hand wash. Please note these are starter supplies and may need replenishing during your stay.
Guests have full access to the entire home, including the double garage.
OUR STRICT RULES:
No loud noise outside after 10:00 pm:
As we are situated in a residential area, we kindly request that you refrain from creating any disruptive noise after 10:00 pm. Our neighbours have been informed to notify us of any excessive noise disturbances. If you anticipate difficulty adhering to this rule, we kindly ask that you reconsider booking with us.
Minimum age requirement:
Guests must be 25 years or older to book this property. The primary guest must be staying for the duration of the reservation and may be asked to provide ID for verification.
No parties without prior approval:
Any gatherings or events require prior approval, and unauthorised parties will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation with no refund. Please note there may be an additional fee for hosting extra guests if approved.
Checkout is at 10:00 am:
We kindly request that you check out by 10:00 am on the day of departure. If you require a late checkout, please submit your request at least 24 hours in advance. Late checkouts are subject to availability.
No smoking inside the property:
Smoking—including the use of any recreational drugs—is strictly prohibited inside the premises.
Leave the property in a reasonable state:
We expect the property to be left in a reasonable and tidy condition upon departure. Any additional cleaning required beyond standard procedures will be charged at $60 per hour. Please promptly report any damages, spills, or stains during your stay. If necessary, you may be held responsible for replacement or professional cleaning costs.
Board games:
We love that guests enjoy our games, but please ensure all games are returned to their original boxes before departure. As reassembling games is a time-consuming task, a $60 charge will apply if the cleaner needs to complete this.
BBQ cleaning:
The BBQ and utensils must be cleaned after each use by the guest. Failure to do so will result in a $100 cleaning charge.
