"I was on a cycling trip that ended in Galle. This property was perfect for a quick rest before heading to Colombo International Airport. The property was clean, I had a comfortable room with shower and there was a pool plus it was walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants."

"Fantastic 150 year old house with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. One of the most beautiful places we ever stayed. Furnishings are beautiful. Great pool. Great breakfast. Great caretaker, Mohan, also a very good chef preparing dinners for us. The owner stopped by and was extremely helpful.

"It was a nice stay and the view from the room was beautiful. The breakfast was great but the staff who served needs more training as they were rushing to serve us while we were having food."

"Just across the street from the beach. Room was perfect, the host even better. Super friendly and helpful. Best place to stay in Sri Lanka. Thank you Bathiya for evrything!"

"I almost didn’t rate this so it is not fully booked next time I visit. What an amazing hotel, such a big and clean room, staff are super friendly and I wish I could have stayed for more than two nights. Only a few minutes on a tuk tuk from the Fort (if you can get one!)"
"From the moment you walk in the hotel is immaculate and the staff are there for your every need. We were upgraded to a suite and it is the nicest room I have ever stayed in. For reference I have travelled all over the world. The beach area is perfect for lounging in their loungers or taking a dip in the ocean with a perfect sandy bottom. The food is fantastic and the beds are softer than most that I stayed in around Sri Lanka. The hotel is five stars all the way and can’t recommend it enough. Great sunsets as well. Cheers "
"What a beautiful gem of a boutique hotel nestled on a hill surrounded by nature. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. It was tastefully designed and filled with personal touches such as books and beautiful photographs. The restaurant called The Dutch is superb. The daily breakfast menu was our favourite breakfast on this trip to Sri Lanka. The entire property is exceptional. We can’t wait to return. "
"One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms are large with all amenities you could need - including steam room in the shower. Property is well kept, with wildlife around. Lovely beach with beach club and a fabulous crescent shaped infinity pool with unbelievable views over the bay. Food is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful - Salman in particular helped really make the stay extra special, seeing that every need we had was met. Couldn’t recommend this place more."
"Everything was great! The only thing I didn't love was the internet connection. It looks like they use 4G cellular modems with data limits instead of a cable or fiber network. I occasionally had to hold Teams meetings for work, and the connection would drop and never get back. However, this seems to be a common issue across Sri Lanka, not just at this hotel. Aside from that, everything else was absolutely perfect, especially the staff and the location!"
"The staff and location were great, but my room had an ant problem in the bathroom and the sheets felt clean but were stained. They gave me a late check out and held my bags for an hour, so that was nice, but unfortunately room 204 did not feel worth the price. The groubds are nice though"
