"It really shouldn’t be called a pet friendly hotel. While we are happy we could have our pets with us as we traveled thru town they didn’t have a pet area to take our pets to potty. "

"Since we arrived late we received a message and our key was in our door. Upon getting to a room, we noticed stain on the bed and no toilet paper. They called the number on their message and someone came down to the office right away to change our room. Motel is dated. 65$ I didn’t expect the Taj Mahal. Lots of stairs. I probably will not stay there again. "

"Check in is at 3:00 and at 3:25 we were told the room was not ready and it would be "awhile." We asked how long awhile is and the desk clerk called housekeeping. Suddenly our room was ready. We waited over 15 minutes to check in and only one person was ahead of us and they were at the desk when we walking in. The lobby was packed with people waiting to check in by the time we finished at the desk. They need more help during peak check in times. The room was fine except they bought the dimmest lightbulbs ever. Breakfast was good. No one was at the front desk during check out. I did not want to leave the keys on the desk so I stood there. Finally someone emerged. I handed them the keys and said we were checking out. She just stood there looking at me. No receipt, no "thanks for staying at La Quinta. Front desk couldn't care less about your business. There are other hotels in the area that are just as comfortable and cheaper."

"Nice, conveniently-located hotel and casino next to the main highways through town. Staff was friendly and helpful. Casino was a bit smoky, but that is not too out of the ordinary. We enjoyed our stay."
