Quick coast get away

This was the perfect spot to enjoy some of Oregon's beautiful coast! With the beach just a short walk from the house, 20 minutes from Astoria, and 20 or so minutes to Canon Beach, could not ask for anything better! The rooms were so big and so very comfortable! We are always beyond greatful for black out curtains! This was a beautiful and comfortable place to relax after a long day on the beaches and walking around.

We loved the location as the beach was relatively close and almost private when we went. The decor of the house and the set up was perfect for our family. Superficially very clean (showers need work and doors were dirty). Quiet neighborhood and close to Seaside without all the crowds.

Beautiful and relaxing

The house looks just as the pictures online. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and beautiful. Love all the trees and deer. Having the patio and hot tub was a bonus. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Going to agree with other reviewers, updates to the place are nice, still feels like an 80s home but the living room is very cozy. The beach wagon was perfect for my dog who had back surgery a few months ago but loves the going to the beach.

The perfect vacation house

We absolutely loved it. It was so spacious for our family of 6. The weather was awful but we didn’t even mind because we were stuck inside a beautiful, cozy home. The hot tub was clean and the perfect way to start our day every morning. The Vacasa agents were incredibly helpful and responsive every time we had a question. We will absolutely be back.

Lovely mid-century beach home!

My family and I all loved this home! We appreciated the newly refurbished interior, the kitchen was well stocked, the fireplace and front room were so cozy, and the beds were comfortable too! Super close walk to a private beach trail! Only complaint was the master bath layout was not preferred for us (the master bath toilet is open to the bedroom at large/has no door) We would totally rent again!

Delightful stay at Seabreeze

This lovely home had plenty of room for two couples for a long beach getaway weekend. The house has been recently updated and located in a quiet neighborhood where deer were seen in the yard everyday and elk made a short visit once. The location between Seaside and Astoria made it convenient to visit noth towns, and we moored our boat at the Hammond Marina for some great crabbing. The kitchen has anything you could need for cooking (bring your own spices/cooking oil though), the are several cabinets full of games for all age groups, and 3 TVs. Definitely would recommend this home for anyone searching for a quiet getaway!

Grandmas last vacation

Overall it was a nice place to stay. A quiet neighborhood centralized in between Seaside and Astoria. Close to the beach, no view though. Some of the amenities needed upkeep. Hot tub was low on water, no propane for the fire pit, and the tea kettle leaked. Too many stairs for grandma but she doesn’t like any stairs. It’s a split level with short staircase to bedrooms and down to tv room.

Nice house.

It was a nice house. It was very clean. I will rethink stairs next time with an infant. There was a gate. By the end of the stay he mastered going up and down one of the sets of stairs. The house is pet friendly. Master bathroom sink stoppers need attention. We didn't get to check out all the amenities. We were quite busy with my daughter's wedding in Astoria. I would recommend this rental. It seems very pet friendly also.

Great location, but a few problems with the house

The location is great - short walk to the beach in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately, the house was not the cleanest when we arrived with vacuuming not done (found things obviously on the carpet in several of the rooms) & master bath trash not emptied. The hot tub was in need of a good cleaning - I found the chemicals in the garage and took care of it myself. The firepit just didn't work, so we gave up on that. The biggest issue was the front doorlock was just not working. It never got resolved while we stayed 5 nights. I ended up leaving the front door unlocked while we were out during the day. When I reached out about this, I was given a new code, but it never worked. The only way we got in one day was one of our guy friends climbed up and entered through an open window on the second floor - thankfully I left the window open, but not a fun or safe move for us to have to enter that way. Having this not resolved by staff was quite disappointing.
