"The cleaning staff is lousy. The property management did make it right for us. The housekeeping supervisor refused to clean our room after I asked for the room to be re-cleaned due to finding clothing items from previous guests upon check in. The management did give me $100 for my inconvenience but the cleaning staff definitely needs to be called outs"

"We absolutely loved this property! We had a balcony room that overlooked the Merced River. Our room had a small kitchenette complete with stove, microwave, toaster, mini-fridge, and coffee pot. There is a store located in the office/lobby area that you can grab groceries, drinks, etc. from and it was very convenient on a late night to grab something and be able to cook in our room. The pizza place on site is superb! We had 1 bad night and 1 good night at the River Restaurant on site, would stick to the pizza in the future! We enjoyed the pool a couple of days when we were done hiking in the park. The property is only 2 miles from the Arch Rock entrance of Yosemite, so we had no trouble getting in/out. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for an awesome stay!"

"The room was clean, their are 2 functioning showers the outdoor showers operate at a dribble, i wish that the showers had colder water to cool down from the heat although you could jump into the pool if you wanted to. The food at the restaurant and bar next door in front of the hotel was delicious its an excellent location for hikers because its 10- 20 mins away from Yosemite driving, slept well and was very quiet..."

"The house was just as advertised. Location is great as it’s only 30 min from the valley, glacier point, and mariposa grove. The driveway can be a bit challenging to get up and down without scraping your car, but if you stay to the far left when going up and backing down it can be done. The kitchen has everything you need, beds were comfortable, and the pool table and hot tub were great additions for after a day exploring the park. Would definitely come back."

"The house is cleaned well, the house is overall a little dated. That said, all of important things have been updated, new minisplits in all the rooms, new washer/dryer, new stove and oven, nice grill outside. For the price, especially relative to other properties in the area, I felt like it was a very good value. It worked out perfectly for us to explore Yosemite with our toddler and have quick access back to the house for nap time etc..."

"The place was spacious, with plenty of room for our family of five. One of the rooms is separated from the living room only by a curtain, but that was fine for our kids. The kitchen is well appointed, and everything is easy to find with labels on every drawer and switch in the house. The location is ideal for activities throughout the area. There are too small shops close by in case you forgot any necessities."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clouds Rest in Yosemite, extremely clean with extra amenities. Close to the river with a swimming hole which was much appreciated, would most definitely stay here again! We had family staying at two homes in the Redwoods and both of the houses had very apparent mice!!! Clouds Rest did not Thank you Mary May for everything you do to make your guests comfortable."
