Authentic Log cabin with something for everyone!

  • An authentic log cabin on 7 acres with a small lake in the front yard. Sleeps 10 in beds (10 maximum capacity). More wildlife than imaginable. Every time of day brings out different animals and birds. Built for family gatherings and fun. Enjoy swimming in the lake. Enjoy feeding the fish (we do not allow fishing) as all fish have been hand raised and are pet like. We do provide fish food for your enjoyment (and theirs:). Enjoy local historical places, numerous wineries and breweries all within 10 miles. Ride the Katy Trail, and do some local shopping. Be sure to visit historical downtown Washington, which is one of the top ten historical districts in the US. Daniel Boone home and monument are close and worth visiting. Busch's wildlife conservation area has over 50 stocked lakes for fishing and other outdoor fun. All of these attractions are within 10 minutes of the cabin.

This place is fantastic. Quirky old cabin that sits in a beautiful place, clean. There is tons of space inside, tons of space outside and well kept. There are tons of mounted animals so just be aware. My only suggestion is bring towels.

We had a great stay at this cabin. It fit all 8 of us with plenty of space. Rooms were clean, our host was great, we didn't really use the kitchen, Parking was perfect for 2 vehicles.

This property was pure tranquility! Couldn’t have asked for a lovelier stay. We especially enjoyed feeding the fish and my doggies loved watching them eat from the deck. We definitely plan on staying again soon!

We loved this cabin! We appreciated that it was pet friendly and enjoyed walking the property. Our dogs had a great time swimming in the pond. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The porch overlooking the pond was a peaceful place to relax. We also liked that the property was on a dead end road without a lot of traffic. There were many wineries nearby to visit too! We would love to stay here again!

Exactly as advertised. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Ample parking and amazing atmosphere. This was a little slice of heaven. Cannot say enough about this property. The peace and calm. The beauty of the views. It was perfect for our needs and so very glad we found it. Thank you so much!!

This is our second time staying at this cabin. This is a very relaxing location close to Marthasville and a short drive to wineries and historic venues. The host is always very helpful and easy to communicate with. It was a great spot for a quick winter relaxing vacation. We would definitely stay again.

Quiet, relaxing, and comfortable! Tranquil setting. We enjoyed watching the geese on the pond and seeing the fish in the pond. Having land to walk our dog was so nice.

The cabin was clean and delightful. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the lake. No time to take advantage of kayak because of wedding. Enjoyed feeding the fish and sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning. Tami was great at answering questions promptly.

Front door was left wide open when I arrived at address. Temperature was 97° outside, so it took 24 hours to get to 72° inside. Fitting on gas grill was old and did not seal, so propane grill was not useable. Smoke alarm upstairs chirped every 33 seconds with low battery as well.
