Convenient and good value
This was a perfect place for us to stay for our two week visit to DC. The bus stop was at the corner and it was a short ride to the subway station. Great to be able to do some moderate food prep and laundry during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet. No shops or eateries within walking distance, but we just wanted to rest after long days of sightseeing. Host was very responsive and there were no housekeeping issues.

WAY too expensive
I had a hard time justifying the base rate as is. Then the expensive host fees?! Insane! The property was in an absolutely terrible neighborhood, all we heard all night was sirens, music and yelling. The bed was like cardboard and the couch was an uncomfortable futon. The property WAS clean and was bug/smoke free so I give it two stars. The only reason these problems are such a problem is because I paid an Incredible amount for less than 24 hours at the house. The expensive host fee was what made the whole experience not worth it. If it weren’t for that, it would have gotten 4 stars.
