We stayed here for sentimental reasons. It is a great property at a great location. But it left a lot to be desired. My expectation for a property when you are paying 1k a nite is extremely high. It does not compare to a Four Seasons or other like properties.

The Ritz in Georgetown is inviting and sophisticated. Beds are comfortable; staff is wonderful from the doormen to front desk to housekeeping. Relaxing areas throughout the hotel for socializing. I like the location just a short walk to the waterfront, M St and Georgetown.

Overall Good, Wouldn’t Book Again

Overall it was a good hotel, the staff were courteous and there for you to help. The room was spacious. I only had one issue on lack of calrity about breakfast situation. I got the breakfast included option and when I got there they said it covers up to $60. When I got the bill later they charged me full amount, so I called and they said it only covers up to $30 and they would fix it. Lack of consistency and clarity is the reason I give them 4 stars and not 5
