Was not informed when my price for room went up in advance. Since there was a college football game that weekend, knew all other hotels were full so knew that would be unable to find another place to stay. Requested a handicapped room due to recent surgery and this was not a handicapped accessible room. Regular tub with a grab bar outside the tub and none on the inside to hold on to, toilet was too low to get off of safely without some assistance. Narrow bathroom so hard to get scooter in/out of bathroom.

The facility was clean and was basically well maintained. But I had real concerns when I got to my room to discover that there was no remote for the TV. I then tried to move through the channels manually, but there were no channels that would come in. As watching TV was a very minimal need, this wasn't a huge issue for me. But I suspect it would be for others. The other surprise was that the room had a refrigerator, stove top, microwave, and dishwashing detergent on the sink. Yet there were no plates, pots or pans, or flatware in the room. If someone saw the pictures of the room ahead of time, and thinking they could be prepping some food in the room, they would be greatly disappointed.

Our room was smokeless but it still smelt like smoke… the Fridge wasn’t fully cleaned… & the cabinets were a bit old & bear up. But I felt safe since they lock the front doors at 8pm. The staff was welcoming, which is so nice with a late check in (10pm). It worked for what we needed.
