The space is as advertised - a motel with a breathtaking view. The staff literally live onsite and were very kind and accommodating. It’s great for solo travel which is what I’m doing. I will be back next year!

For a “motel” it was way nicer than expected. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were super soft!! The view in the morning was a plus. The only downfall was the shower, it got cold at one point. Other than that it was a nice place to lay our head while traveling.

My wife and I take a 3-day vacation in Watkins Glen, visiting Watkins Glen State Park and Buttermilk Falls Park. I find the motel online. Both my wife and I are very satisfied with the cleanness and room-air quality of Gorgeous View Motel. Mike, the person in charge, receives us in a very warm way, making us feel at home. The parking is so easy just a few steps from our room. I recommend the motel with no reservation. I wish Gorgeous View Motel always success.

The room was very clean. The bed was made before we got back to our room. The bathroom was clean. Be careful in the parking lot, you may roll into the lake. Basically, it’s all in the name!

Just a simple roadside motel. Right across the street from Seneca Lake, all of the rooms have a beautiful view. The name “gorgeous view motel” fits. The people that ran, the hotel were absolutely friendly and helpful, the room was simple, but clean, the bed was comfortable, it had a microwave, a fridge and a coffee pot, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough to stream video. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

No pets. But we don't travel with pets. No smoking, but we don't smoke anyways. Wish they had a pool, but the view of the lake and all the fireworks was awesome! They even did fireworks in their own front! Easy to get in, out, and comfortable. 10/10!

After I ordered 2 rooms the owner asked me to call. He wanted to make sure how many rooms I ordered, and how many guests are comnig I told him we're a party of 5 and we need these 2 rooms (each room should sleep up to 4, no breakfast). When I arrived he told me (for the 1st time) that because we're 5, we have to add 15$, due to the 3rd guest in on E of the rooms. That's a surprise that shouldn't be discussed for the 1st time at checkin! The owner didn't talk sense into that dispute. I ended up paying the added cost. the towels were rough, and the strong fluorescent light on the ceiling was annoying, The shower was quite small, with 2 small shampoo tubes and hard soap bars. On the good sie, the mattresses were clean and somfy, and sleep was refreshing.
