At first glance the hotel looks beyond overly basic as you pull up to park. Bit the rooms are super comfortable with good bed and ac. The staff went waaayyyy beyond normal for anything I needed. That alone is always impressive at budget hotels.

The best news is that the air conditioning worked well, the room was clean, and the TV reception was good. The hallway and parking lot had trash. The property has potential and needs some TLC.

Unfortunately the whole place is not what it used to be. The place is rundown. Our room smelled of mildew, especially when the air would kick on. Most of the lights were out in our room. To find a reachable outlet to plug in my phone I had to move the mini-fridge out of the way to get to a outlet. I used to love going to the restaraunt years ago and the whole area was thriving. Unfotunately, those days are long gone.

A quick place to shower and sleep very inexpensive. The shower and bed were clean. The room did have an outdoor to it, as the motel allows pets this may have been the odor in the room which was too strong for me. Breakfast is minimal we opted for the Kwik Trip across the street. Check in was fast and easy. It is connected to a bar but it was not noisy. For one night it did the job we were just passing through.

The room was clean but could use some updating. The one gentleman we encountered was pleasant. The area surrounding the inn could use some help. The continental breakfast was really lacking. It consisted of stale packaged Hostess danish, dry cereal(milk in the fridge), tiny oranges and regular coffee(no creamer). For the price we paid for the room, I expected better.
