"This is a great property for those looking for an OBX property that isn’t ginormous. Definitely an updated older beach home, with nice updated decor. Under-house entertaining and game room were nice features. Host is highly attentive. The property is next to a somewhat busy road on one side, but that also allowed for easy access to walking trails. Beach was a very short walk and didn’t involve crossing any roads. We had a great time. "

"This semi-oceanfront home was a dream! the panoramic views of the ocean from the living room and deck were absolutely breathtaking! We loved the convenience of the private walkway directly to the beach, and the house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed including beach towels and chairs. "We really enjoyed our stay at the comfort zone. The location was amazing, right on the beach. There is a huge wraparound deck that allowed our dog to outside but kept him contained. My favorite part was the guest house that is connected to the main space by the deck. The kids slept in there, had their own bathroom and TV, so they could play Xbox all day like normal. There’s a loft with a bed and also a sleep sofa in there. We will definitely be staying here again!"

"Everything was amazing. Our only feedback is if you are bringing a four legged family member be aware that there are briars. Each time we took the dog out he got them in between his toes until we got him socks to protect his feet. BUT other than that the home is perfect!"
