“This place is very well located for the Afton/Crozet/Nellysford attractions, especially breweries and wineries. Very serene and well appointed with nice, thoughtful touches. Hosts are very attentive and available should the need arise. Great place for a mountain getaway!!”

“Great home and host. The attention to detail and the cleanliness of the home was outstanding! If staying in Afton, this home checks all the boxes.”

“Cute older house in a great location. Quiet neighborhood. Screened in patio provides an extra hangout place. Only 1 full bathroom, but it's very large. Kitchen is also large. Nicely appointed. Kids enjoyed seeing two deer and what we think was a groundhog in the yard.”

“Mountain Mama is a beautiful home with wonderful views! The pictures are very accurate for all the rooms and views. We had four couples stay for a long weekend and had plenty of space. The kitchen is stocked with pretty much all you need for cooking and the grill works well. The house is also conveniently located to breweries and wineries. We had no issues with our wine tour bus getting up to the house. I would definitely stay again and recommend this place to friends!”
