My reservation was for July 9 through July 13 for business at Lake Junaluska, NC. I arrived at 4:30 pm EST and text the Vacasa number that I received my confirmation from that I had arrived. The Vacasa representative (503-213-6950) text me back asking how clean the home was.
1. Rugs in the living room and dining area were dirty and not been vacuumed.
2. Only one window for cabin in one bedroom. It was not adequate to get the room below 78 while the rest of the cabin was hot.
3. Bed had hair and dirt on the sheets and pillow, along with a flea-sized bug in the bed, which jumped to two different places. Second bed in the other room had hair and dirt there as well. I was obvious that the sheets had not been washed and that the bed was simply made up.
4. The tub had scum on the sides.
5. Kitchen trash had watermelon rind/trash left in it, along with bugs flying out.
6. An awful, putrid smell coming from the sink disposal.
7. Coffee pot was dirty and a dish still had food particles on it.
I left and did not stay one night. I went to motel. I have pictures, reservation confirmation, and text message conversation available to back up my Review.
I am requesting a reimbursement to my card, which I will make available upon your response. I have had no luck in getting any response back thus far.
