“First off the price I was given when I reserved the room was less than what I actually paid! After I reserved the room I called the hotel to double check that my room had a Jacuzzi (that's the only reason I booked this hotel in the first place), when I got there my room had no Jacuzzi! Said it had water damage. Didn't give me a discount price since the room I reserved a week ahead wasn't ready. Room wasn't clean. Owner was extremely rude!”

“The main lights didn’t work at the door. There was roaches crawling on the counter top and in the sick in the bathroom. Comb under the bed mattress that looked like it had been there a while. Floor had dirt all over. Very unclean. Person living in the next room over had pets. Did not stay refused and received a refund.”

“Hotel policy is new towels, fill shampoo etc. and make bed on day 2 and 4. Anything else needs to be requested. Ridiculous for the price. I was alone so I managed even though on late on day 2 I had to ask for towels from another housekeeper and on day 4 ask someone again. What about families? No vacuuming, no toilet cleaning, no clean bed linens? Should be automatically done.”

“No staff available. Had to call and wait for them to check in. We entered our room for about 5 minutes then never returned. The room was filthy. Bathroom was filthy with bug in tub. Holes in bathroom door. Beds were dirty with balled up hair on sheets. ”

“Bailey and Leslie went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They were friendly and welcoming but also gave us our privacy. The food was amazing all 3 mornings we were at Home Sweet Home. We stayed in the Paris Suite and found the bed to be very comfortable and the suite to be clean & spacious There were plenty of fans to circulate the air around the room and lamps to lighten up the space. “Cute & cozy little country cottage. Only stayed 1 night with my son to tour Martin University but we really enjoyed our short stay. Had everything we needed & we were able to relax & enjoy each other's company. Easy check in & check out process & host was friendly & communicated well. ”

“Quick trip to tour, Bethel University, and University of Tennessee of Martin. Beautiful house, quiet and convenient location. 5 min drive to most of the restaurants. Whole house was clean, The beds are all soft and comfortable. And the water pressure was amazing. We didn’t want to leave They had a variety of coffees and teas to try.
