“The cleaning job needs improvement.”

“Clean, maybe a little dated, but overall nice. Great deck overlooking the bay. Well stocked for dishes, pans, cutlery, paper products. Washer and dryer with unscented laundry soap was a nice surprise, along with an airfryer. Appreciated those! Fireplace nice for cold rainy days was nice too. 2 full bathrooms was appreciated.”

“Super location and clean home. It was overcast the weekend we were there, but the views of birds and the water were still lovely! Easy check-in process and very responsive and kind property manager. A well stocked kitchen for cooking if you decide to do that. The only thing that we missed were blinds in one of the bedrooms. An easy fix! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!!! :)”

“Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!”

“Wonderful house in a peaceful neighborhood. We had deer visiting us daily. Saw eagles flying over the bay. Everything we needed to cook our St Patty's Day dinner. Plenty of space and we had the best weather to enjoy the deck. Loved it!”

“1. Show and mention all the stairs that are in the house. One of the kids fell down one flight. We had to follow them everywhere. 2. Put a street sign showing the way to the front door. 3. Front stairs were slippery and mossy. We had to use the back stairs. That's why we needed them repaired that day. 4. Hobbit door in front is for show only. 5. Bedrooms need something to hang clothes on, maybe hooks. We had wedding clothes with us and no place to hang them.(flower room and another bedroom) 6.……

“Nice location; house is worn; sugar ants in kitchen and bathroom; sister broke her toe on an exposed brick near hot tub; needs deep cleaning.”

“This is just what my sister and I were looking for. It was quiet, clean and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying beauty of the outdoors. There are a few items that could be updated inside or repaired but it didn’t distract from our stay. The kitchen didn’t have any bowls to make a salad.”

“The location and home was great. Saw deer and herons on the property. No mosquitoey was fantastic. Only thing that was a concern was some of the carpets were stained or dirty. I took pictures in case I was going to be charged but not too concerned. If you have a chance it is a nice be place to stay. Thank you”

“We soaked up the sound of the waves, bird song, and even the fighter jets! We sat on the couch together to just talk and watch the sunsets! Perfect location on the island to see the Olympics and jump off either the north or south for little day trips. While enjoying the morning sunshine on the deck, two bald eagles flew into the tall fir right next to me!!! We will return! Thank you, Bruce! P.S. We enjoyed Alexa to control the heating and beach music!”

“The house is on the smaller side as far as the living area. But very cozy and was fine for the two of us! I went with my mom we were visiting her brother who lives down the street. We really loved this home! I can’t think of anything to complain about! The door lock was confusing, it didn’t always work so I used the key from the key box. Other than that it was great!”
